This is an older hotel. I have stayed here before and came back because it had what I needed. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. No hairdryer, but I knew that so I brought my own. It had a microwave and refrigerator. The staff is top notch. I will be back when I want to stay in Costa Mesa. I can't say that it could be more modern, I know it is older so I don't expect anything different. It was our second stay and we will stay here again. Nothing of note that we didn't like.

Location was nice. Mattress needed to be replaced. It was collapsed on one side. Toilet seat looked to be cracking or chipping and looked like they tried to paint over it. Shower curtain was rusty and old. Corners of wall looked like the did a repair but didn’t paint to make it look better. Overall it wasn’t a nice clean room

paid with my online bank GO2Bank and was charged and the money taken out of my account but when I checked in was informed I couldn’t use that payment method. I paid in cash but was told my refund would be instant. It is still not available and the bank says it’s up to the merchant to have the refund completed.

The room was dirty. Smells bad. There is no phone in the room. TV was terrible. Restroom was dirty.
