Very friendly staff, our butler was absolutely amazing and always available to assist with any needs! Excellent food, and drink. Lots of entertainment as well!

Calm and chill Room service took too long

The resort is new and beautiful the rooms are huge. They need to improve on better room service.

Resort still in early stages so the landscape still has to develop and the little details felt rushed and sloppy.

Dinner restaurants are a casual dress (shoe or sandal required). I had dined at the steak restaurant with sandal many times but on our last dinner before returning home, I was asked to change my sandal or wouldn’t let in so dress appropriately.

There wasn’t a lot about the resort that I didn’t like, but I felt like the hallways could’ve been maintained a bit better.

Food was ok. There were plenty of options. Pools and water park was nice. Rooms were big but not very comfortable- not a lot of places to put clothes. Room also smelled really musty. Butler service was ok.. difficult to get stuff that. Wait staff was good! Resort wasn’t crowded so that’s a huge plus Quality of food could be better. Room cleanliness could be better.

New resort with beautiful decore, great beach and pools. Rooms are extremely spacious. Great towels. Like the small fridge in the rooms fully staffed. Clean. Good entertainment in the evening. Personal Concierge is a wonderful touch. Lots of specialty restaurants with beautiful decor and ambiance. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. In the rooms, no place to dry bathingsuits. For beach and pool resort, this is very uncomfortable. Not enough outlets in rooms. In today's electronics is part of life. Hangers in closets are not removable-really uncomfortable, especially since there is no place to dry suits. Most disappointing was the food. Lots of good beautiful presentations, but no taste. Only meat and shrimp were good in all restaurants. Sushi so thin. Veggies come cold to the table. No taste, no flavor, no spices - just pretty.

Still problems with room quality finishing. Plumbing problems. Not enough trained staff for resort. could wait 2 hours for a cold dinner.

Everything was great

Very good food and property is very clean and feels luxurious. Staff is friendly and helpful. A lot of seaweed on the beach.

Beautiful Nothing

Under staffed. New resort that wasn't finished nicely. Quality of workmanship was poor. Pools not being maintained properly.

Just returned from a five night stay at the new Majestic Mirage resort in Costa Mujeres. I have been to the sister resort, Majestic Elegance, three times, so I thought I’d try the new one for a change. The property is beautiful. It’s a mirror image of Elegance, with architecture and landscaping. There are some rough edges that need to be smoothed out, but all in all, it’s a comfortable place for a relaxing vacation. For example, there is no signage at the restaurants, making it very easy to miss the entrance to any one of the options. Also, there are no printed menus, so you must bring your phone to scan the QR code to download menu choices. Nothing earth shattering, just little issues that will likely be resolved soon. Check-in was a breeze. It took less than 20 minutes to complete the process. The front desk people are friendly and professional. All I needed was to present my passport and credit card. Then, I was introduced to my butler, Val. Val is a wonderful young lady who seems to know everything about this resort and how it all works. It was a real pleasure to have her help me throughout my stay, making my holiday more fun and worry free. She helped schedule my spa day, taking care of all the details. It was a worry free, incredible experience. She also provided assistance when my return flight was rescheduled and I had to change the pick up time by my taxi. I couldn’t have done it without her help. She is truly a valuable asset to Majestic Mirage and a wonderful person to talk with! I had an oceanfront suite in the Mirage Club section of the resort. These are lovely, spacious rooms with breathtaking views of the beach and ocean. Truly an awesome experience. Housekeeping was impeccable. Their attention to detail in keeping my room clean and tidy was impressive. Everything was always in its place, easy to find. I needed extra coffee, so all I did was ask, and it was delivered in a flash! The beach is beautiful. Every morning, they have a tractor that scoops NO issues with the resort. The only issue was with the taxi service. The driver was not waiting for me at the airport, as promised. I had to make phone calls to ensure he was coming to pick me up.

Brand new property in non crowded area of Cancun (north from Cancun). Blue See (no algas), beautiful beach, big beds on the beach. Very spacious suits (all rooms), huge terrace with jacuzzi, big variety of restaurants (we couldn’t visit all of them in 8 days), comfortable beds, personal concierge, evening programs, live music, fee paddle board and some other water activities, different kids club, water park. There is more than everything to feel occupied and relaxed here. The property just operated since a few days when we came. The floor in the public areas had traces of paint. The architecture is luxurious, but the execution sometimes inaccurate. Draining in the floor-even showers doesn’t work properly, so water comes out in the room. We needed a lot of towels. The tables in the beautiful seaside restaurant are all shaking quite a lot. In the public shower areas I missed something like chairs at similar, where we could leave our stuff and baskets for beach towels. Small things for demanding guest. Still wonderful property and place.

The resort is brand new so there are some parts that are still under construction so a bit noisy when you’re out outside. But over all the resort is beautiful.

The rooms are a great size, the architecture is beautiful, overall vibe is elevated If you are traveling as a family, you will only get access to about half the property… I think there were 5 pools, and only one was family friendly. The best area of the beach is adults only. The best breakfast adults only… etc. Families get the short end of the stick for sure. Also, a wooden board fell from the third floor and landed on a cabana (could’ve killed someone if they were sitting there…) and we watched the hotel hastily hammer the board back in, in a way that made it seem like it will fall down again. Honestly quite hazardous. It just seems like the whole property was rushed to be finished. Lastly, we felt the butler service was kind of just a marketing ploy… we only saw our butler Ana a handful of times and she didn’t go out of her way to help us with anything throughout the week!
