The hotel benefits from an excellent location — centrally positioned, fully walkable, and with true ski-in / ski-out access, which makes a significant difference. Housekeeping standards were impeccable, and the ski room team deserves special recognition for their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuinely warm approach. The shuttle service was particularly disappointing. Despite being assured of a pick-up from Chalet de Pierre, the shuttle failed to arrive. While waiting, I observed other five-star hotels operating flawlessly — except ours. When the driver eventually came, the experience was further diminished by loud music and an unprofessional attitude. The food offering was also underwhelming. A Margherita pizza ordered on our first evening was inedible — undercooked dough, poor-quality ingredients, and far from acceptable for a hotel of this category.

    Amazing service and location

  • Engine customer Apr 2026

The only good aspects were the location near the ski slope and the availability of a shuttle service around the city. Very disappointing experience for a so-called 5-star hotel. The spa closes too early, and there is no gym, which is unacceptable. We were incorrectly charged for food we never ordered, and the bill had to be corrected three times. Breakfast was repetitive with no variety, frozen fruits instead of fresh, and no live cooking station even for eggs. The hotel feels old, rooms are extremely small, and the overall service was not welcoming. Even our personal trainer was not allowed to wait in the lobby, which was unprofessional.

excellent location, a lobby and terrace with panaromic ski and village view, 4 minutes to village center and shopping, clean roons, typical old style mountain hotel. off course there are more luxuriuous 5* hotels in Bellcote, but for a double price. rooms are old mountain small rooms, with a perfect mountain view. Concierge Mr. Karim is very proffesional for any needs and reservations. His team is very efficient, too... but as Courchevel you need to ask for your needs in advance. it is very difficult to make last minute reservations around the town. very close to many sublime restaurants and hotels. pool is great, ski room is very helpful, a cosy 5* hotel, if you expect more , you have to be ready to pay the double for the other 5* hotels. i personally select classic old hotels of the region , which are build first, central, classic, not after decades when the place become popular..... rooms are old mountain architecture and a bit small. hotel enterance with many steps may be difficult for some guests.

The location is awesome, in Bellcote but still in the village, rooms with view, mountain live lobby, excellent staff, concierge M.Karim and his team is excellent for difficult Courchevel reservations. Very Comfortable Wish rooms could be a bit bigger. But it is not a mass building, a real size mountain building.

The location or the property is excellent. And honestly that’s a big plus to both skiing and being close to the center. All restaurants were walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast was good and has nice options although there is a place for improvement. The Ski Shop team were very friendly and have good Ski gear to rent. Also the concierge team were very helpful and are the most professional from what I experienced in the hotel. They helped us in restaurant bookings and further. They really took the extra mile. Specially an employee which I can’t remember his name but I believe was from a Moroccan background. I would also like to mention that the Valet staff were friendly too. Firstly we were disappointed when we arrived at the hotel from the condition of the hotel specially the entrance and lobby which felt very outdated. We then got very disappointed from the condition of the room and room hallways as they are extremely outdated and need renovation. One major point to mention is that the toilet is separated from the bathroom! The shower was tight and not practical. We had to pay extra and upgrade to a junior suite in order to able to be comfortable as the normal rooms are extremely tight and small. The junior suite was renovated recently which is in a much better condition than the normal rooms. Thus, all rooms/hotel need to be upgraded to justify the prices they are charging per night. One major point that we didn’t like was the attitude of a very unprofessional reception staff who gave us the worst impression from the first night. He gave us a very unpleasant welcoming to the hotel. Our impression later got better as the concierge team were helpful and friendly.

I am writing this review out of a very bad experience with the staff and management of the hotel. I made a booking for 2 at the Hotel and paid for it. Shortly after I receive an email regarding my booking explaining that the room I booked had water damage (later on I discovered that was a complete lie since I had two more friends that were staying at the hotel and had the same TERRIBLE experience) never the less I was told that I would have to switch rooms the next day of my stay if I chose to continue with my booking or I would receive a full refund. I went to the hotel to check in and after the complete check in process was completed I was told by the front desk that the next morning I would have to check out of the hotel at 11am and wait for 5 hours with out a room and re-checkin into another room at 4PM since they would need the room I'll be staying in for another guest. Not wanting to be homeless for that period of time considering I paid for 2 nights and not for an 18 hour hotel I respectfully informed that hotel that I will not stay with them and would like to take them up on the refund offer which they have provided me in writing. The receptionist informed me that it wouldn't be an issue but since she's not the manager I would have to contact the hotel in the morning when the manager is on site. The next day I spoke to the assistant general manager SEBASTIAN and he told me that he understood the situation and but regretfully he will not be processing any refunds since the reservation has not been cancelled the day before. Despite explaining to him that the receptionist told me that it wouldn't be a issue but she wasn't authorized to do it on the spot he responded that he would have no authority to do so and would escalate it to upper managers. I continued to chase the hotel several times including once of the times I spoke to a receptionist and when I told her that

Amazing location. Generally great service at the hotel. Bar & restaurant fantastic. Was really disappointed in the concierge service before my trip. I wrote to them 3 times to help with restaurants etc and never had a reply! Not good for a hotel this expensive.

    Superb

Concierge was not working well. We waited too long for shuttler service, sometime there is no shuttle.

  • Engine customer Jan 2025

Location only The staff was so rude and unfriendly. The hotel claims to have 5 stars but it does not fullfill the requirements. The concierge kept making drastic mistakes with reservations and did not even apologize. We ended up not having reservations we had been looking forward to.Most of the time the concierge was not even available

Breakfast was particularly amazing but all fiood was excellent. Staff were always very helpful. Thank for looking after us I sustained an injury to my knee and the toilet which is quite small was difficult to get in and out of!

Location Too old, too expensive for what it offers

  • Engine customer Feb 2024

I booked a room which was possible to get an extra bed for a child up to 12 years old in the room description, the Hotel refused the extra bed request and moreover they refused to refund me the amount I payed.. So I was stuck and had to talk to them personally where the receptionist gave me a hard time to accept my child to sleep at least without extra bed..! Eventually they accepted since we were a big family and they registered my child under another room. Logically It is either you accept an extra bed or refund me… It was a horrible experience from the beginning unfortunately. Hotel management, property entrance and very expensive.
