The property is beautiful, you feel as if you’ve stepped right into a fairytale. The room has been artfully furnished and is very generous in size, and the furniture is in keeping with the scale and time period of the chateau. The bed is a bit on the firm side, but not uncomfortable. If you are looking for a break from the modern day hustle and bustle, this is your type of getaway. We enjoyed how quiet both the rooms and the grounds were. Two of the nights we were there, we chose to dine al fresco, and enjoy the views of the lake and mountains, as well as the gardens at the back of the property. The breakfast was lovely. Each day, the hosts provide fresh pastries, fruits, cereals, meats, and cheeses from the region. There is a small cost for this, but it is well worth it. N/A

This is perhaps one of the finest chateaux available to travelers in France. I say that as a traveler who's visited most of Europe, with many decades of independent travel under my belt. If for any reason you ever come to this area of France, or for no other reason but to stay here, this place is mandatory. Ryan and his lovely wife are exceptional hosts and the highlight of our recent travel through France. Frankly, experiences like this are our reason for visiting Europe. Next time, I come by motorcycle though, so Ryan and I can drive D7 together - but please, don't you try it in your car. Nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was adequate. The staff was fantastic. The whole setting is really great. We were there end of October so we could not enjoy the garden.

Beautiful location in the foothills of the Alps! Nothing! It was a wonderful spot to stay!

The location is amazingly beautiful. It's walkable to a small lovely town. The host were amazing and had actually booked us a reservation on our first night, knowing it would be difficult to do so ourselves based on how late we arrived.

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are beautiful, the staff was great. The whole chateau feels like you are back in the middle ages. That we only booked one night.

Stunning picturesque location and views. History dating back over 1000 years. Expert restoration from structure to decor. Gracious and friendly hosts. Cleanest ancient building we’ve ever been in! I can’t think of a single thing!

Amazing property. Not just your average hotel, for sure. Loved to hear about its rich history from the owners, who were absolutely lovely.

We had the most wonderful time staying in the Chateau. The Chateau has been restored and shows off stunning views and beautiful grounds and garden. The interior is simply beautiful. Our room was very comfortable and restored to a very high standard. The surrounding area is so incredibly beautiful. We had wonderful meals at a restaurant close by. This stay was probably one of the highlights of our 7 week trip around France.
