Beautiful old building with lovely grounds I had stayed there the previous year as part of my Camino del Norte experience. staff lovely and very obliging. Nothing to add.

There's a nice walled garden where you can enjoy some quiet time under an orange tree. Don't hesitate to ring the bell ! We spent quite some time waiting at the reception for the hostess to check us in, she spotted us while watering the plants but only came in when we actually rang the bell.

Excellent location. Beautiful building. Nice room with a good bathroom. The restaurant isn’t completely open yet. Very limited choice - cheese pizza.

Very quiet. Wonderful garden with seating under the orange trees.

Initially actually finding it was tricky as no specific satnav details available. It advertised a restaurant, always a must but upon arrival we discovered the only option for an evening meal was a 15 minute walk each way to local restaurant or a pizza made on site, not the on site facilities we thought we had booked sadly. Several local dogs take it in turns to bark at anything that moves but nothing to do with the hotel. The premise are beautiful and very well maintained with a courtyard to sit in and hav a drink with wonderful views over the estuary. Some of the above

Very good hotel. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. There are about 7 parking spots outside walls. Enough in Nov but could be a problem in summer. Hotel is in a small village with limited parking. Our new rating item is "Can you get to back of TV to insert Firestick?" The answer is Yes. Australian subscribed Apple, Prime and Netflix work in Europe and UK. Despite possible issue with parking I would recommend staying here. It is as good as it looks. Nothing.

Location was very peaceful and relaxing , perfect after a long drive and within easy drive of Santander ferry port. Less than 30 minutes. On arriving in the square just above the hotel we found the parking difficult since our car is long and wide but we then discovered that you can descend from here to a generous parking area directly in front of the entrance with spacious spaces. The bedroom was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. Lovely bathroom with excellent water pressure. There was a large conservatory so an evening drink or breakfast could be enjoyed with exterior views. Breakfast food very good. Wide choice. Lovely staff. Only one restaurant open in the town at the time we stayed and involved a walk along a Main Street with work units, so not peaceful, picturesque or enjoyable, but only a few hundred yards walk. I would say that the food we had was fine and the staff were very interactive and kind. Really no hardship involved. It catered for all ages and had a childs party with Peppa Pig. It involved a walk of some 15 minutes but easy walking without inclines. The toaster in the breakfast area was a beast. In the morning we were shown into the breakfast area and shown the coffee machine and toaster and I proceeded to place a slice in the machine , the sort with a horizontal element above a slow moving conveyor. It moved very slowly and the toast got darker and darker. I tried to get it off and away from the element and the inevitable happened. Smoke detector leapt into action and in no time at all some dishevelled Spaniards arrived to find out what had happened to warrant an early morning call. I apologised and they were very kind but it was embarrassing.

Pretty building. Where to start? First, on an already hot day of about 30 degrees, we were given the top floor room, which was a good ten degrees hotter with no AC. To make matters worse, half the room had slopy ceilings such that we had to hunch over most of the time, just to walk around. Third, the faucet in the bathroom did not drain. When we complained about the room, nothing was done other than giving us a dingy fan and the advice to open the window. Only problem, with the window open, the temperature remained terribly hot, with the added bonus of an invasion of wasps and subsequently mosquitoes. In sum, we did not sleep a wink and the staff was entirely aloof, which is unacceptable.

Everything. My second stay here whilst waiting for the Santander ferry and there is absolutely nothing I don’t like about the whole experience. Nothing.

Beuatifully restored building in a small village close to Santander. The owners could not speak English and we could not speak Spanish but we got on fine. The room was compact and comfortable just right for our one night stay amy longer and we would recommend a room with views. Breakfast was excellent. No complaints

The Posada is in a quiet location and very close to the Camino. The house is nicely decorated with a terrace and small garden. My room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I slept really well.
