The location of Pooley Bridge is beautiful on the edge of the Ullswater lake. The room (a little small) but was described as cosy was lovely. The breakfast was delicious. We also dined in the restaurant for our evening meal which was excellent. The staff were all attentive and the service excellent. If anything, the restaurant was next to a road which was a little noisy first thing, but I was aware of this when booking and didn’t affect our stay.

The room was excellent, The dinner, superb, staff very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable, breakfast fabulous. I have recommended a stay to a number of people that love fine dining would have like to stay longer, but will be back

The overall appearance , style and individuality matched with cleanliness and comfort , lovely staff and quite simply the best breakfast ever . Room was quite cosy verging on snug but well equipped, spotless and stylish .
