Reasonable It's much more basic than how it looks on photos on Booking. In June it was really, really cold in rooms. No heating.

The shower in the bathroom doesn't work. One receptionist doesn't understand anything in English, it's hard to communicate ,and she was unpleasant. Breakfast is two rolls, butter and jam, coffee or tea. Very poor compared to other hostels in the area Cuzco. In some rooms the windows are barricaded .You can't open them and there is no air conditioning you can suffocate. Note for those who have asthma or claustrophobia.

the staff are lovely and so helpful. the places is super clean. the breakfast is yummy (fresh coffee, bread & jam, fresh papaya juice)-. location is good (not super close to the main plaza but easy to walk everywhere, and handy shops nearby) amough I loved so many things about this place, I have to mention the noise from the karaoke bar next door. Thankfully exhaustion from Machu Picchu and earplugs meant I slept well: but this will be a challenge for others and was for a friend of mine. I wasn’t able to shower properly on day two- the shower took over 5 mins to get warm and then soon after went freezing cold.

Same breakfast, not hot water

Passable

Beds were cosy and staff were helpful with airport transfers. They messaged me on WhatsApp for transfer updates. Our shower was sub-par. Staff made a temporary fix of celotape and tissue to stop water spurting on the bathroom ceiling and was difficult to get temperature adequate for a shower.

The location is perfect especially if you plan on using IncaRail since it is just down the road. Also, we were able to store our large bags there since we could not take on the train. The room didn’t quite match what was in the description. It was still clean and tidy though.

- Great location - very close to Wanchaq station, which is convenient, if you depart early to Machu Picchu, and also walking distance to historical center and even to bus station - Helpful staff - Fair price/value ratio, if you are traveling on budget, it has everything you need, but it’s not any kind of special - Rooms were quite clean - breakfast was very plain, I didn’t enjoy it. Also we need ed to mix our own coffee from sirup (which I couldn’t get the right) - internet was working, most of time it was good, but it wasn’t reliable enough if I needed to work for example - it had warm water in the shower, but you need to call the reception first to turn it on
