Hotel Rumi Punku

Unfortunately, my stay was affected by an electricity outage that lasted throughout the afternoon and well into the evening. As it was my first, and only night in Cusco, it was quite inconvenient and limited my ability to settle in and enjoy the property. While I understand that such situations may sometimes be beyond the hosts' control, it did have a noticeable impact on the overall experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but I found it to be slightly expensive for what was offered, particularly considering the disruption during my visit.

I had to ask for a washcloth. When I inquired about getting a washcloth, I was told to use a hand towel to wash my face. I asked for an additional hand towel and the maid then brought me a wash cloth so I knew they had them. Also, my bottle of water was not replaced.

Locations, staff, facilities..absolutely perfect !

It is not a dislike just a comment: I opted to hang my towels to communicate I didn’t want them replaced, but they were still replaced daily.

Really nice hotel with a lovely extensive breakfast! Comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Easy and quick check-in! This was a great place to stay after our Salkantay Trek. Also very close to the downtown square. The bathroom floor can get cold!

Everything about Rumi Punku was charming!! We felt very safe. Breakfast was very good. We loved the dining room & used it one night to eat the food we brought back.

Very helpful staff. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Good location to walk to the main sites in Cusco. Upper floor rooms (3rd and 4th floors) have more light.

It’s clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice street, seemed safe. An easy walk to central area but away from the noise and chaos. Also easy access to San Blas. Good breakfast. Room entry is from a courtyard offering outdoor space for relaxing. I had a single basic room for 5 nights and single supreme room for one night. Both beds were comfortable. It was an excellent value and experience. There was nothing I did not like. It would be nice to have USB ports in the room to charge devices.

When we arrived (a few hours AFTER check in time) we still couldn't check in because our room was not ready yet.

The whole hotel looks great. Breakfast was delicious. The location is good as it’s 5-10 min away on foot from Plaza de Armas.

The staff were excellent and always helpful. Leni at the desk was particularly helpful with travel advice and getting us a driver. The breakfast was great. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

It was beautiful! A bit of a hike up the steep hill but well worth it!

The breakfast was delicious, location was excellent and the room was pretty and spacious. The shower’s hot water was sparse.

Located in close proximity to all major tourist attractions in Cuzco, this establishment offers spacious and comfortable rooms with clean linens. The heating system in the rooms is set to operate from 7 PM to 7 AM. It is challenging to remain in a room without heating when I recently arrived and continue to stay in the room in the afternoon due to the high altitude, which has caused me to experience headaches.

We had a very nice room here, extremely well equipped with robes, slippers and even a luggage scale. The staff was excellent and helpful. They provided a long extension plug along the headboard to plug in on the other side of the bed. The breakfast was excellent, a buffet and cooked to order breakfast. Location was good, a short walk to the main square, restaurants or anyplace.
