Mandila Beach Hotel DaNang

The pool seemed ok. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. We ended up leaving after two hours and booking another hotel—the first time I've ever done that. I booked this room for a family of four, and my Booking.com search was specifically for four guests. When we arrived, the room only had one bed. The staff insisted that I had selected the wrong room, but from a guest's perspective it's a reasonable assumption that rooms shown in a search for four people will comfortably accommodate four guests. What made this even more frustrating was that the room had only been set up for two people, with just two towels provided, which made it seem like the booking details hadn't been checked. The only solution offered initially was a twin room with two single beds, which wasn't a practical option for our family and, in our opinion, would have been even worse. We were told that families often stay in that room, but it simply didn't seem suitable for the price we had paid. After we had decided to leave, the staff then found a mattress that could be placed on the floor at no extra charge. While this may have been intended as a solution, it came too late and wasn't what we expected when booking accommodation for a family of four. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Awesome location No early check in available

The hotel was in a great location, just across the street from the beach, and the street behind the hotel had lots of restaurants, shops, and spas.. Swimming was not allowed directly in front of the hotel, but there were very nice areas for swimming with plenty of cheap beach beds with umbrellas just a few minutes walk up or down the beach. Our room was facing the water and had spectacular views. The views from the rooftop pool were even better. The pool was quite small and had very few sunbeds, but it was usually uncrowded and great for a cooling dip or enjoying food and drinks from the pool bar. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety, although the dining area was too small and crowded. The thirty minute foot massages included for free were a special treat. Everyone on staff was friendly and professional.

Absolutely stunning view from our room, very good breakfast, complimentary feet massage, close to beach (across the road), but walk crossing can be challenging I little bit noisy becouse of road

The bath towels are too small and they will not provide you with even one extra towel. I really need one for my hair and one for my body. My husband had to live without a towel because I used both and the hotel staff refused to give us one extra

Large selection for breakfast. Excellent balcony with direct view of the beach and the nightlife at the restaurants on the beach. Pool was fine and the staff were attentive and friendly. Bathroom was a little small and the shower was over the bath. Okay for us, but maybe not so good for those who are a bit older.

I like the location it’s walking distance to the beach. The food is good. The room is good too. The staff were nice and professional. It’s very safe location The pool is small and the water is cold.

Had a great stay at Mandila Beach Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the team — all staff were attentive, professional, and spoke excellent English. The lobby and overall property were clean, modern, and well maintained. My room was comfortable and spotless throughout my stay. The rooftop infinity pool is a highlight, with an amazing view and attentive bar service. The location is also perfect — just steps from the beach. Special thanks to Hieu Bon for helping arrange a quick Hai Van Pass excursion, which made the experience even better. Also Huyen in the buffet and pool lounge bar was very pleasant and helpful during my stay Would definitely recommend and stay again and bring my family for a future stay next year.

We enjoyed our room with a view of the Ocean, the breakfast was good with a lot of choice. The location was good. All was good.

I liked the location and the front door man was sweet. The breakfast was also a yummy breakfast. It ends about there. Safety was an issue for me. The elevators didn’t require a card to tap to any floors. Anyone could’ve followed me and came up without a card if they walked straight in. This was an issue for me because I had my little sister with me and didn’t feel safe sending her out on her own. I felt severely catfished by the photos. This hotel is way more outdated than the pictures make it seem. If you’re looking for something newer I would skip this hotel. Hallway lights would turn off when there was no movement so I would be standing in a dark hallway while waiting for the elevators unless I waved my arm. The stove was confusing to use. Dishes looked like they weren’t inspected after the previous guest. Overall the cleanliness wasn’t great either. They charged me for using a bar of soap. As it wasn’t complimentary. I felt like something like that should’ve been complimentary but I guess they do business differently. After 2 days - I immediately moved to a different hotel and it’s been a world of a difference

The buffet breakfast was amazingly good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our complementary foot massage. It was so relaxing. Our room with the view of the water with the balcony. was very comfortable. The location was centrally located with a couple different beaches nearby. We are so happy we stayed there and if we ever get back to Da Nang we will definitely stay at the Mandila Beach hotel again. All PROS. No cons

Great location and helpful staff. Big beach towels available. Noisy. Street noise was consistently loud. Could use soundproof windows. Common areas were very small. Breakfast had lots of options but none were of great quality.

Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
