I loved the pool. I liked the location near the beach, but not on the highway. The staff was great. No hot water in the shower, but I had hot water in the sink.

The Salmalia was truly the best find! I'm so glad I booked this hotel! It was right across the street from the beach, and a short (BEAUTIFUL) walk to all of the great My Khe ocean-view restaurants. It's a smaller boutiquey hotel, that's decorated so cute with lots of different tile patterns and built around an open-center courtyard type area that is filled with a pool and pretty trees - the vibes are delightful! The staff were so kind and accomodating; we were upgraded before arrival because of construction next door, so we were given the a premium twin room with balcony and pool view (which I HIGHLY recomend!), instead of the king room with city view. At first I was confused because in the US going from a King to a 2-twin bed room would not be considered an upgrade, but they explained they could put the beds together and use king-size bedding to make a really large, comfortable king bed for us. It was a beautiful, comfortable room and having the pool view was better than the city view, in my opinion, because that courtyard area is so lovely! Being not on the main strip, but one street behind, made it the perfect location for being close to things without it being too noisy. There's a really nice convenience store right on the corner to grab some drinks and late-night snacks, and every Grab we ordered was always there within a few minutes; and it's a super convenient 30-40 minute Grab ride to Hoi An. They have pool towels you can use at the beach and a delightful buffet breakfast, with meade-to-order eggs or Vietnamese soup, and fast laundry service. Cannot reccomend this hotel enough - would definitely stay here again, if I'm ever back in Da Nang.

Awful looks nothing like the pics - it’s dirty and stinks. We didn’t even check in. I demanded a refunded they wouldn’t give it to me. EVERYTHING it’s awful. Do not stay here.

Min and her staff were amazing. Peaceful retreat after a long day out and about. 5-minute walk from Beach convenience stores and coffee. Look forward to staying here again when we return

the staff is very helpful and the location is great, less than 5 minutes walking to the beach. the nearby area is full of restaurants (from local food to Michelin level) and coffee shops.

If you are looking for a cozy, family friendly, very clean. With excellent location near the beach and restaurants salmalia is the place to stay. We totally loved it and will be happy to recommend and return. All exceeded our expectations. Friendly and helpful staff at front desk, excellent breakfast and very well located.

The property is a hidden gem! The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Not much, pool towels are kept in your room rather than at the pool but they give you more if needed. I would’ve liked more hours for the restaurant but I think it’s the off season so that makes sense.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean everywhere. Pool was nice but cold due to not getting much sun on it and not being heated. Breakfast was good but considered very average as compared to other boutique hotels we stayed at. Overall a very good stay.

1. Very bad breakfast, imagine you have for breakfast food from your lunch, insane. For a 4star hotel you need to have breakfast not lunch at 6am. 2. For room service the have a program in your room (not working) and another one, the real one sent to you on WhatsApp. (Pizza and pasta, that’s all) 3. Cleaning the room usually it makes in first part of day, here, you don’t know could be at 9am could be at 15pm or never. 4. Minibar only water, nothing else 5. Noises, 2 types of noise: first, if your room is street oriented you have noise from the street (a lot) and 2nd type of noise from the construction. 6am, 1am, 3pm…. at any hours. And you will find this at the front desk when you arrive, they are not honest to say before. 6. Because was cold outside, heating doesn’t work Conclusion: My review is according with what I was expecting from a 4 star hotel! If the sad they are 2-3 star hotel yes is fine! But for 4 star hotel, NOT ACCEPTABLE!
