Dam Tien Hotel

The hotel is just a block away to the main beach. Perfect location. Surrounded with many shops, restaurants, attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful The towels should have gotten more attention. Our towel got weird smell even though we got new ones daily.

Breakfast is not available at this hotel ? Overall, the location is fantastic, not only it’s about 100 meters from the beach, it’s situated on a main boulevard, Pham Van Dong, that has many restaurants, convenience stores, massage parlors, karaokes and coffee shops. Within a 5 minute walk you could be soaking your feet in the sand and seawater. There is a long boardwalk along the beautiful white sand beaches with palm trees that shield you from the sun. Of course there are plenty of kiosks on the beach that serve drinks and snacks for you to lay back in between swimming. The hotel is also close to the Dragon and Han bridges that is near street food night markets. BTW this hotel is also within a 10 minute walk from a major mall, Vincom super mart that has international restaurants, movie theaters, a supermarket and assorted shops for all your needs. Last but not least, the staff at Dam Tien hotel are professional and helpful. Housing cleaning staff do a terrific job every day, while front desk staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always ready to assist you with your needs. I truly enjoyed my time at Dam Tien hotel and hope you will have the same experience here. The towels can be newer and of better quality!

Is a great location The bed is as hard as a slab of marble

Decent place near the beach. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. We had an issue with our TV which was immediately addressed. Reasonable price for the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good foods nearby. Could have been a bit cleaner.

You cannot beat the value. I only didn't like the negative comments I read on here from other foreigners. You can't expect a five star hotel for this price. Too many people are way too negative about everything.

The location is less than five minutes walking and you are at the beach. There are many restaurants and even several gyms nearby. You cannot complain for the price. If you want a perfect place you will have to pay five times more. This is an excellent value for the price.

Location is close to the beach, quick check-in, staff, room size, AC sound insulation is good enough but it's not so perfect to prevent the noise of the children staying next door. but the security guy came and actively solved the issue :)

The only problem is that there is no lockbox in the room. But there are security cameras in the corridor.

The room is not like the photos. There is no balcony - fine. But the window directly faces a wall outside. Very small gap between window and outside wall, so the room was always dark. No natural light at all. If natural light is important to you (it is to me), then i suggest you don't stay here. Only a few rooms have balcony and they are offered only to selected guests. The room was clean and the staff were lovely, but it is not okay to advertise using pictures of a brightly lit balcony room and then give a room without a proper window. No balcony, no outside facing window. There is a window but it directly faces the wall. The room is super dark even during day time. Its very unfair to charge the same rate for room with huge balcony and this kind of prison-like room.

It was only a few minutes walk from the beach, and there was a shop next door. There is an elevator, a TV, a wardrobe and some toiletries. For the cost of the hotel, I was happy with it. There was no stated closing or opening time. I had to wake up the worker to leave at 2am for the marathon as the doors were locked. The window in the bathroom didn’t lock. The shower head was grimy and the shower head holder was unstable. Overall, it was a good hotel considering how much it cost.

The receptionist was really welcoming and always welcomed me with a lovely smile. The hotel is in a good location, the banh mi people outside were fun. Lots of shops,Tokyo beer and BBQ across the street and an excellent Indian restaurant amongst a bunch of others Quick access to the beach. Looked sweet f a like the picture, the bathroom window wouldn't lock so I tied it shut with a shoelace, a rusty old kettle that needed swapping. Aside from that? No worries.

Superb

Pros: Great location – Close to everything, making it convenient for exploring. Spacious room – Comfortable size for two people. Balcony – A nice addition for fresh air and relaxation. Cons: Cleaning needs improvement – Found hair on the floor, in the bathroom, and even in the bedsheets. Dusty surfaces – Dust on the picture frame, bedside table, and phone. The fan is extremely dirty, making it unusable. Mold issues – Not just in the bathroom, but even on the glass of the picture on the wall. The shower door clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. If the hotel improves its cleaning standards, it could be a great place to stay. For now, it's suitable for a short stay but not ideal for longer visits.

A lovely spacious room. The bed was rock solid but we actually had some of the best nights sleep here. Hot water, very clean bathroom. Lovely stay here. It’s very close to the beach and a wide variety of restaurants close by. We had a non-smoking room which had no signs of people smoking in it, but the room next to us had an adjoining balcony so when they smoked, it filtered into our room and smelled.
