Lem's Apartment & Coffee

We left four jars of skincare products in the room. After we checked out, the room was inspected while we were waiting downstairs, but no one mentioned anything to us. The next day, we noticed that the products were missing and contacted the hotel ourselves. They replied within a minute saying that yes, they had them. So even if they missed the items during the room inspection, they still didn’t message us after finding them, even though we had already been communicating via WhatsApp. We came back to pick them up, but the products were returned half-empty. I know this for sure because one of the jars had been bought just a couple of days earlier and was completely full. Big and clean room. Very bright and comfortable. Good location near the beach and many cafes and restaurants.

The bathroom has slight smell but it’s not too strong

It is very clean big and you get more than what you pay for! Totally worth it! Big windows with thin curtains, makes it hard to sleep in the morning (I work night shift remotely).

In my opinion location i perfect, host really welcoming, helpful, professional. Room have everything what you need. I will be back for sure.

Bathroom smelled a bit of mildew but this seems to be normal in this area of Vietnam. Overall a great stay.

It was my first time in Da Nang, Vietnam. Lem’s apartment family made me feel like home. Everyone was very polite, kind, and loving. The apartment very clean, spacious and comfortable. Great coffee to start the day. Absolutely will come back and suggest my friends, who love the peaceful and cheerful place ?

Really good apartment with huge windows and nice views. Super friendly family that run the place, made for a better overall atmosphere/enviroment. Would have absolutely extended my stay if there was availability and would 100% come back Nothing comes to mind

We had a pleasant stay overall, with a few areas that could be improved. The accommodation is located in a lovely neighborhood, with plenty of local coffee shops nearby—including one at the property itself. Just behind the building is a local market where vendors sell fresh fruits, vegetables, and other goods, which added a nice local touch to our experience. Our room was on the 4th floor, facing the street and featuring a balcony. Thankfully, there’s an elevator, so getting to the room was easy. Inside, the room had a small kitchenette with a fridge, electric cooktop, some utensils, and plates. There was also hot water in the shower with decent water pressure. We appreciated the two small complimentary water bottles provided at check-in. However, there was no microwave in the room—possibly one is available in the lobby. The host was friendly and responsive, and she provided an extension cable when we asked. The housekeeping staff was also very kind and cleaned the room daily. There are some points that could be improved. The check-in process was a bit inconvenient. We arrived around 12 p.m. and were asked to return at 2 p.m. When we came back exactly at 2, the owner—who was sitting in the lobby—only then went to clean the room, so we had to wait another 10 minutes before we could check in. The most important issue we encountered was with the towels. Unfortunately, they had an unpleasant smell even before use, likely due to age or not being properly dried. We strongly recommend replacing them with newer and larger towels to enhance guest comfort. Overall, a decent stay with good location and helpful staff, but with room for improvement—especially in the check-in process and towel quality.

Lems Apartments are clean and tidy, but a lot more dated than the pictures. It's in a fantastic location, a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Unfortunately, I think a lot of the reviews are fake as we had quite a poor experience here but we may just have been unlucky. Firstly, the beds are rock hard so to have a good night's sleep was difficult. Secondly, on the first morning (we stayed 3) the owners and family were taping up things (duct tape on boxes) and talking/shouting loudly at 5am in the morning. I did send a message to them at 5.47am to query the noise and to ask if we were able to move to a higher floor and the response was that they were sorry but their brother was moving the next day so they were doing things for him. I understand people have lives but they should have pre-warned us or just done it at a more respectable time. After all, no one who is on holiday expects to be woken up by the host making so much noise at 5am. The rest of the stay was ok, no real problems apart from about 30 minutes before check out. I had a shower and was completely naked on my upper half and got a knock at the door. I said 'one minute please' and then another knock, again I said 'one minute please just getting ready' and then a women tried to enter using the masterkey. I stopped the door from opening and hid behind the door holding my upper half and my head popped round the door, she kept pointing to the window but no English was spoken so I wasn't sure what she meant but I said 2 minutes and put up my thumb and finger to highlight what I meant and she then pushed her way in, went to the window, opened the curtain and window and started watering the plants. I was shocked and felt quite humiliated. I don't even let my mother see me naked, let alone a stranger. Then she giggled and left... ??????? For these flaws, I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone else unless you don't mind not having privacy/ soundproof walls.

Overall it was great stay. Location is good near the local market and shops, not far from the beach. Towels, you just need to change them all. After just one use they went all smelly.

Our stay in this apartment was fantastic; we felt at home from the very first moment. Phuong, the host, and her family were always super kind and friendly. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, located in a quiet area away from the city center's noise but just a few meters from one of the main avenues. It is also only 200 meters from the beach. If we return to this special city, we will definitely stay there longer. Highly recommended! I also want to mention that I forgot my phone charger in the apartment, and Phuong reached out to let me know and sent it to me in Hanoi. She took care of everything so that I could receive my charger again. Nothing

The apartment was clean and decent for the price. What we didn’t like was the lack of kitchen utensils and pots. So if you’re planning to cook something, the kitchen isn’t very useful.
