At check-in, the receptionist asked us to cancel our Booking.com reservation and pay directly instead, promising a cheaper price. We agreed – and immediately regretted it. Here's what happened during our stay: Smoking issues: The guest in the next room was smoking inside their room. Since this is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel and we booked a non-smoking room, the smoke smell filled the hallway and our own room. We requested a room change. The hotel told us no other rooms were available. Shampoo & shower gel: Booking.com listed shampoo and shower gel as provided. However, the hotel did not give enough for the number of people in our room per day. When we requested more, the receptionist rudely told us he had already given us enough. Hair dryer problems: Booking.com also stated that hair dryers are available. In reality, not every room has one. When we asked, the receptionist told us to share one hair dryer across four different rooms. We found this unacceptable. After arguing, he gave us one more hair dryer – for four rooms total. Staff behavior and lobby smoking: The receptionist was very rude throughout. We also saw guests smoking in the lobby, which again contradicts the non-smoking policy. To the hotel's expected reply: Yes, you will say I am not a guest because Booking.com has no record of my stay. That is true – because YOU asked me to cancel it. I am still a real guest who paid you directly and stayed in your hotel. I even have a receipt from you too. Luckily, Booking.com still allows me to review this hotel despite having canceled my booking. I hope plaform will not remove my review.

I booked river view room but when we got there, they said it’s not available and gave us different room at the back side for the first night. I specifically booked a room with balcony, and there was not one. It was disappointing. Second day, we moved to a riverside room. I expected them to be more organized about the bookings.

the wifi didn’t work super consistently. other than that it was great! some construction noise and street noise as to be expected with the location!

Great location, priced right for the area, room was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful Bugs in the room.

Great location, and there was an indoor soft play directly next door perfect for my 5 year old son! Just a 10 minute walk from the Dragon bridge so we could watch the fire and water show, plus nice views of the water. The staff were really nice. Also there was a delicious and very reasonable award winning restaurant just a few doors down - 30k-60k per dish compared to the surrounding restaurants ranging from 200-500k. There was a cockroach in our room, maybe just unlucky, but the staff came up and helped me get it out with a sweeping brush. Also the WiFi didn't work for us most of the time, it may have just been a bit too far away as in the reception it seemed to work okay (again that could be a coincidence)

Exceptional

Really good hotel for the price. I was invited for free to took a better room but wifi wasn’t as good in the better room so i stayed in the one i had booked. The staff is really pleasant. The hotel is near goods places and have a really good street food road not so far (in direction of the east) The pillow were way to stiff for me (i sleep on my stomach)

Check in and out was fast. Room was clean.

It is close proximity the watch the fireworks and eat at the stalls along the river. (We were there on a Saturday night) The beds were large and reasonably comfortable. They did not accept credit card payment. My teenage son walked 20 minutes (return trip) to the nearest ATM to withdraw dong. The windows in the bathrooms were difficult to close and a lot of noise from the very busy street below went on until quite late. There was no shampoo or body wash provided. It was probably more like a hostel than a hotel.

Clean rooms, lovely staff, good location, the air conditioner is not cool.

Near to night market and lots of restaurant to choose. Night view from balcony is the best. Very near to dragon bridge and merdragon. Nothing
