Our twin room was spacious & comfortable, with both a shower and a bathtub. The lighting was excellent, especially for getting ready in the morning. The beds were also much larger than expected. The breakfast spread was outstanding, offering a wide variety of high-quality options to suit different tastes- from noodles and congee to eggs, pastry, bread, and fresh fruit, to Hainan specialities. The pool was a highlight—serene, well-maintained, and with plenty of sunbeds available. The lack of air conditioning in the lobby made waiting there uncomfortable at times, especially in Sanya’s heat. Also, it would have been great if the pool area served light snacks or drinks. Having to go back to the main lobby/lounge area for food, and waiting 30-45 minutes for a simple dish like satay or a club sandwich was inconvenient, so we didn't end up eating.

Location is good Hotel didn’t provide me a suite that I booked and manager started lying that they made me upgrade but I didn’t need 2 additional beds in my 2nd room because there were only 2 persons. Also you can’t have dinner after 10 p.m. and it’s really boring hotel. But the worst thing is that staff can steal your personal belongings. In my case when I checked out from hotel I left my Louis Vuitton swimming shorts on balcony because they were wet. On the next day when I realised it I reported about loss to hotel but they started to deny that they found them. It’s inappropriate to 5 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend to stay in this hotel

Location. Spacious room. Great breakfast. Cleanliness. It’s silly but the chairs in the restaurant produce so much noise when one moves them. It’s really noisy. Everybody complained.

When you stay within the garden of the hotel next to the pool all is nice and beautiful. Breakfast is good, parking space as well. It is close to a few good western restaurants like Dolphins sports bar for example. The service isn't great. When we returned to the room around 18:00, housekeeping hadn't been yet. When I called reception about it it was impossible to speak to an English speaking staff member. At 23:15 extremely noisy guests arrived and that wasn't managed by the hotel as well. Coffee isn't available in the room, only tea. Dadonghai bay is really ugly and dirty, when you want to enjoy the beach you definitely can't. Yalong beach is much better but isn't near.

Everything was great. Met immediately by staff upon arrival at hotel. Greeted by many people. Check-in was fast easy and friendly. Room was big. Great view. Great comfort from bed to linens to towels to bathrobes pillows mini bar safe furniture. Breakfast buffet great. Pool area great. Fitness center great and a great spa. Overall great experience. Maid service was spot-on. Always fresh towels and linens. A/C could have been colder. But room temperature was comfortable

Very clean and well maintained. nice pool. amazing terrace view and room but it comes at a price. staff like not very present. no orientation at all about anything. at least « wifi », « pool location » « what’s to do around » … are basics any 5S hôtel should welcome guests with. no soul there at all. also poor F&B at executive lounge. pool staff was nice and put some nice mood in the property.

If you are solely coming to the hotel for the hotel, then this is an amazing place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner are amazing. There was a wide-variety of food and beverages to choose from- it was delicious and fun. We stayed Christmas Eve and were treated to an amazing dinner and entertainment. It was a great night! Unfortunately, we also wanted to explore outside the hotel grounds for fun and a relaxed beach vibe. Unbeknown to us, many of the coastal shops and bars had be boarded up, ready for redevelopment 4 days out from our stay. This was a disappointment for us and so we left early (with no problems). However, the hotel is the destination if that is what you are looking for- you won't be disappointed!

the facilities are great and the food was very good. Christmas dinner buffet was very good. after a nice 8 day say in 2020 we returned for 4 days and were highly disappointed with the service. Very poor English speaking staff, if at all available. For a JW Marriott the service and friendliness was not 5 star/premium.
