Front desk staff only speak very limited and simple English words, but too my surprise were super friendly (remembering that I've had bad experience about horrible front desk staff attitude on my last visit in Shanghai). Not only welcomed any inquiries about the hotel and gave detailed explanations about local transportation etc, they were also very attentive and helpful with the problems I had. For someone with sleep problem and high sensitivity to noise and night, it would probably be better to prepare earplug, especially if staying at room in the first floor. ・Location is close to Luhuitou Park and public beach of Dadonghai (although the shortcut to the beach had been closed due to typhoon a couple of month ago), but quite far from any other major attractions of Sanya.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Summer Tree Inn 三亚夏树客栈(鹿回头景区大东海店). The room is very clean, spacious and with comfortable bed. The facilities are so good. You can wash your clothes at the top floor terrace, etc. You can even dine at the terrace where you will definitely feel very relaxing! Not forget to mention that the Lady Boss 崔文心 because she can cook so well, we enjoyed her dishes which satisfied our taste buds! The dining area is adjoining with the reception area, its setting is so romantic and beautiful. We would like to thank Mr Guan and 文心 because they are so friendly and helpful, with their help all our worries before the trip vanished. Mr Guan helped us to arrange a tour to Binglanggu Hainan Li & Miao Tribes Cultural Heritage Park (海南槟榔谷黎苗文化旅游区), which was our main focus . As foreigner tourists we didn't want to be conned by expensive tours, hence Mr Guan really gave us a helping hand. The tour came out to be perfect as we wished. Mr Guan took extra miles to fetch us to pickup point and even personally reminded the tour guide to take good care of us! The location of the Summer Tree Inn is very strategic and near to Luhuitou Park (鹿回头风景区) and Dadonghai Beach(大东沙灘), you can just walk there. Our Sanya trip was a memorable one, so much thanks to Mr Guan and 文心. If we ever visit Sanya again we will stay at Summer Tree Inn ! None.

Location is the best. Close to bus station, beach, restaurants as well. Also the hotel is in the traditional chinese street and life style, which is very different than modern city life. Owner of the hotel was very friendly couple. They help everyone there. They have many pets

The hostel is just lovely, the host are super nice,warm people which made our experience there special. The room is spacious and very clean. Location is very convenient to visit super nice area like Da donghai, Xiao donghai and Lu hui tou. You can also easily rent an E motorbike there! breakfast is good too! Sometimes during the night noise from street could be a bit disturbing, but the owner is already very attentive to the noise level and trying their best to make sure guests are not disturbed.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us many useful advices and help since traveling with little child is not easy. I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Sanya. The location is very close to Lu Hui Tou, one of the most important attractions in Hainan.

We planned to stay here for 3 days and then move to another hotel by the sea, but it turned out to be so good that we extended our stay 2 times and ended up spending the entire vacation in this hotel:) 1. Wonderful owners who arranged everything so that you feel like you are visiting close friends. A bulldog, fish and birds live here. Beautiful space, lots of decor, fresh flowers - everything is very cozy and tasteful. 2. No communication problems. The owners have a translator who can understand voices and knows all languages, there were no problems with communication at all, it was even possible to chat on different topics. 3. Very clean everywhere, and the room was cleaned every day. Good internet. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, there is air conditioning, but we didn't need it. 4. On the ground floor there are tables with sofas where you can eat and there is always candy. The cafe is very good, inexpensive, order from the menu, there is healthy food. Very tasty coffee and brewed tea. 5. They organized a comfortable transfer from the airport, you just need to ask about it before arriving. You can rent a scooter right on the spot. 6. It's a 10 minute walk to the sea, the location is very convenient to explore the city, we even rode a scooter to Yalong Bay and back. Nothing ! Our windows faced the street and sometimes sounds could be heard at night, but the owners took this into account and there were even earplugs in the room that perfectly protected our sleep from noise.

Staff were so kind and helpful. Location was great. So close to the beach. Great for the family with kids. Very clean and hospitable. Suitable for people who plan to stay in Sanya for many days with budget.

Friendly host. Clean room, cleaning service was every day. There was a laundry service and a space for drying of the clothes. There is a cafe in the hotel, where you can order different meals in appropriate prices. The park "The deer turned his head" is in a walking distance. Dadunhai beach and it's shops and cafe are also in a walking distance but part of the way you have to walk there along the road kurb, pavement is absent. Two small supermarkets in several metres from the hotel. Host has two lovely cute dogs. Location is far from the centre of the Sanya city and it's railway station, you need to use a bus or taxi to get it. Hotel itself located in the lowland, because of that sun rarely lighted up the room. Additionaly there were several rainy days during our staying, so we felt high humidity. The road is located 1.5 metres form the window. It's quiet enough, but from time to time you can hear sound of the cars' engings, passing by. Weak sound proof in the room.

amazing hotel, convenient location (near two bays, a bus stop, shops, there is a cafe in the hotel itself), near the park The deer turned its head, the rooms are very clean and have everything you need, we lived for almost three weeks as a family with a 5-year-old child, we are very glad that we chose this to stay! ) You can also rent a moped here. there live two cute dogs, birds, a turtle and fish) very caring owners, ready to help in any matter)) thank you very much for your hospitality!!)) definitely recommend ?

We were three people and stayed for 4 nights. We had such a good time here! I think this is the perfect place to stay, if you are young and want to enjoy the beach in Sanya but still want to have authentic chinese local food and don't want to spend too much money on luxury hotels etc. The trip to the beach is about 10 minutes, because there is a little trail, where you can walk down to a sandy beautiful and clean beach. We spent two whole days at the beach and it was not overcrowded, even though the weather was really nice (I think most of the Chinese people stay somewhere else or just don't sunbathe there the whole day). And we had almost every meal in any of the little restaurants in the streets behind our hotel, which was so good, very cheap and just the local food places where all the local people go to. So much better and cheaper than the stuff they sell at the beach. This hotel is close to some of the big luxury hotels but in a small side street, that's why the price is a lot better and you have access to local food. The hotel room itself was nice and clean, it was cleaned every day and there was enough room for us three to open up our three big suitcases. Sweets and slippers were provided by the hotel and towels were changed every day. The shower is in the same room as the toilet without any curtains or anything like it often is in China, it's no big deal if you're used to it. The owners of the hotel are soo nice and sweet as well and we enjoyed our stay also because of their warm hospitality! They gave us food to try multiple times, made sure we had everything we needed, and helped us with organising Chinese written stuff as well. All in all they were very sweet, very helpful and it was just so enjoyable to stay here! Thank you for everything :) Nothing I can think of :)

The roof space The coffee was not hot enough

The owners are exceptionally nice people and very attentive to their guests. Rooms are very comfortable , clean , well equipped, and serviced daily. There are laundry facilities on the roof terrace. The hotel is situated just inside a Chinese housing district ( non tourist) with access off the main road down a steep slope. The street is a constant tooing and froing of people. Once I was used to it I loved the bustling everyday atmosphere.

friendly and helpful staff, even though they didn’t speak English, but were able to answer all questions via translator apps. the room was clean and comfortable. excellent water pressure in the bathroom. the location was okay, it was a little far from the beach but very close to luhuitou scenic area and the local fishing village neighborhood where we got some great, cheap Chinese food. there was also an adorable and friendly little dog. the beach area was a little bit far of a walk (like 15-20 minutes). the room window just looked out onto the wall of the building next door, but it still got decent sunlight with the curtains open.
