I don’t like to be 100% negative I will always try to find a positive in any situation. What I liked was that there was a water filter machine in the reception so we didn’t need to buy water everyday. I was very disappointed with our stay. We didn’t get the room we booked, the room we got while it was spacious, the walls were stained and the paint was peeling off them, there was also a strange smell in the room that was only tamed when we kept the window open, which led to a few mosquito bites. There is no air con just a single fan high up on the wall above the bed. I have gotten use to the hard beds in Asia but this bed was like sleeping on a rock so uncomfortable. The shower was either cold or scalding hot there was no in between. There is a window above the door which lets the light from the hallway into the room which never turns off so your room is constantly lit up. The walls are very thin so you can hear every sound from the rooms on your corridor and also on other floors (We were on the 5th floor but could hear everything from lower floors), along with the elevator when it is in use. We were woken each morning between 5am & 6am to doors slamming and what we assume were other guests starting their day. This could also have been the change over of staff from night to morning and if so they should be more considerate of their guests. We were sent a number of messages about the rules and regulations of the hotel when we checked in, there was one which left me feeling quite unsafe. It stated that if we were to avail of housekeeping during our stay we must ensure we take our valuables with us as they wouldn’t be responsible for what happens to them and to ensure nothing was left on the bed, I have never come across this before this just made us feel uneasy and uncomfortable. We made the reception staff aware we would be checking out early as we had a bus to catch, this was said to be no problem and that someone would be there to check us out. When we arrived at reception there was nobody around, I sent a message to the hotline for when reception was unmanned but the phone that received the message was left at the unmanned reception desk.

Good location, clean Hot water is too hot and not cool down when turning the switch Stayed next to elevator, it cause noise. Room have bad noise cancellation

Staff lovely, location great, excellent value for money Room didn’t match pictures. Needed a fresh coat of paint as walls looked dirty. No small light so big light had to be on at night which isn’t very cosy. Dimmer switch didn’t work. Kettle was great addition but no mugs or tea or coffee.
