The hotel is beautiful with lots of great photos vantage points. I love how the hotel retains its historic charms while still has the amenities of the modern day. The views from the windows are wonderful. We stayed in the older wing and there were no elevators, walking up to the third floor again and again can be tiring, especially when it’s late and you’re a bit drunk ?.

No bidet. No shower, there is a high bathtub which was difficult to get into. No elevator. The first floor is 30 steps high.

Great location and staff. Rooms were luxurious. Great coffee choices. Could use hair dryer that is NOT on wall as it is hard to continually press button to keep on while drying long hair. Could use magnifying makeup mirror.

Historical and location No open window. Room is too dark. Old style. TV is small and not much channels. Food is expensive and not up to the price; not good.

I didn’t like it that the shutters with screens did not close properly and had holes in them. We were there for a week and were bitten by mosquitos every day. The hot water for showering was intermittent. The balcony furniture was rusty and did not have cushions.

The luxurious bedroom. Breakfast and breakfast room. High tea in the dining restaurant Staff very helpful in organizing bus tickets for ouf next destination We arrived very early morning, and were told to sit and wait until 8am as they could not find our réservation.

Great views of the Lake. Spacious room. Nostalgic furnishing. Nice restaurant setting and views. Many stairs to climb, from the entrance to the hotel, and Lobby to our room. No lifts in the hotel. Some restaurant staff could be more attentive and cheerful especially in a 5-star hotel

The heritage part of the hotel is just incredibly fantastic giving an athmosphere of the 100 years that the hotel has been standing there in the center of DaLat with a magic view over the hotel park and lake beyond that. I did not know that there is a newly built part (2017) that I by mistake booked room/suite in, but the staff was kind to change that for a suite in the heritage wing instead. Everything was heritage feeling in the large room with a telephone from 1892 and great view! Very nice room indeed. The breakfast was so heavily decorated that it was difficult to find what you wanted, and I gave up on finding butter to the bread, but it was fine anyhow.

A normal 5 star breakfast in a beautiful dining room with a view over the lake. We were completely satisfied.
