Location, room size

The bones of the hotel have the potential to be nice. The staff were polite enough and location was fine but not optimal. Our stay here was not the most comfortable, we had quite a few issues: - Soundproofing in the hotel is terrible, you can hear everything and there were many inconsiderate guests who were very loud late into the night and early in the morning - Facilities were just passable but lacking (towels were shedding, no tea/coffee provided, dirty tea cups were not replaced for days) - Towels were replaced everyday but housekeeping did not seem to do anything else? - We had 3 rooms and not a single one of the fridges were functioning - There were random holes in the ceiling, not a huge issue but a bit strange??? - Seemingly only one kettle in the entire hotel that had to be passed around from room to room - Hot water was not very hot in the shower and took a long time to warm up - Beds were very hard, it might be a preference thing but this was the hardest I have ever felt We almost didn't make it here in the first place as the listed address on booking.com is different to what the actual address is. There is also more than one of this named hotel so you could easily go to the wrong one.

What I like is the area. It is near where the Shuttle bus dropped me off. It is also near to the Klook's redemption center for the Da Lat City Tour. I just walked from the hotel to the Klook's redemption center. It also has an eatery and spa beside the hotel. There are nearby coffee shops, clothing boutique and convenience store. I also like that the manager / the owner allowed me to check - in early with minimal additional fee. There is an elevator and a hot shower. The room 309, when you use the elevator you have to press the number 2 button. Room 309 is big. It has double lock. There is a card key for room lock and for the electricity. The lady receptionist is kind and helpful. She lent me a kettle and very helpful in explaining things by translating from Vietnamese to English. They do not answer when you reach them via booking.com messaging. I even asked them if they have whatsapp number or line number, they never responded. I booked for 2 nights. I checked in August 29 and I also checked out August 29, same day. The room is big but not quite clean. There are dust every where. I have to wipe the area where I needed to use. I suddenly got an asthma attack. So I went outside for the meantime just to breath and to avail the City Bus tour. I got tired so I went back to hotel I think that was after 12 PM or late afternoon and I took a hot shower. The shower room is big however, there was a hole on the ceiling. The room is very cold as well even though I am not seeing air conditioning. The room has electric fan but I didn't even use it because the room is really freaking cold. I wore 3 pieces of clothing. Still not enough. Also, the big cabinet beside the bed kept on opening by itself even if I have already closed it a couple of times. I also hear some strange noise from it. I tried to sleep but I can't, I became uncomfortable since I started coughing non-stop. The aisles were also dark when I think it is nearing 6 PM. I turned on the lights on the aisle near my room, but still there were other areas that were dark. I feel like this hotel is old and preserved. I feel like if I stay for a night, I won't be able to sleep. My gut feeling says to leave before it really gets dark. So I decided to go back to HCM on that same day. I waited for the receptionist to come but there was no one showed up. So I just put a note beside the room card key.

The staff at this hotel are really nice and excited to help. When I arrived earlier than expected, they were so friendly and let me check-in early so I could rest. It made me feel really welcome and taken care of

This hotel was amazing! It was, peaceful, comfortable, and clean. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and the room was cozy with everything I needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it

My stay at Mai Khanh Hotel in Dalat was quite enjoyable. The room was comfortable, spacious and well-maintained, providing a cozy space to relax after exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. While the facilities were basic, they met my needs adequately.

I stayed at this hotel and it was really nice. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's right in the middle of everything, and you can walk to the Da Lat market in about 5-7 minutes. It was convenient and enjoyable
