Kimpton Pittman Hotel – Downtown Dallas by IHG

We booked a room for a short 12 hour stay. We got there after 7 PM and had to wait 15 to 20 minutes due to the front desk being understaffed. Other than that, the property was beautiful in the room was very nice and very clean. We were not aware that it was right across the street from several nightclubs and you could hear the music from 11 PM till about 2 AM.

I loved it! The location and atmosphere were great, but the staff members were AMAZING! I felt the southern hospitality immediately when Holli checked me in with the welcome cocktail!

Beautiful room and complex. The most comfortable bed!!! Happy Hour was an unexpected bonus. The gentleman out the front were always so kind. I was charged a "Guest Amenity fee" which was clearly included in my original booking charges and the receptionist agreed it had been charged. Apparently booking.com didn't charge the tax in the original transaction so I had to pay the complete fee again and chase booking.com for the refund. $58.66 Amercian dollars extra as the receptionist couldn't work out how to just charge me the $9 tax owing. ☹️

The hotel's location is in an area with a special vibe of black music. The nights are very noisy. Because of all kinds of music and also because of a train that passes by with a lot of creaking noises all night. In addition, the jem is very basic. And There is no comfortable place to sit and work on a laptop.

Would not stay again. The windows and walls must be thin. There are lots of bars around this property but the music vibrates the whole hotel. Don’t expect to get any rest here. Starts at 9 stops about 230 but then police cars everywhere with sirens on trying to get people to disburse . Completely insane that those places are ruining this great hotel.

I will definitely return to this hotel again, amazing service, excellent hotel, this is my hotel in Dallas

Fantastic stay! Beautiful hotel and amazing staff who went above and beyond to make our anniversary weekend special.

Everything was ok; it's recommended.

There was an outage of the elevators on Saturday, we waited outside for anpprox 90 minutes. Stairs were the only option. Elevator was still out on Sunday so def inconvenient checking out from floor 4.

Hour every day. Very good Food at the Restaurant. Only negative thing: ver nois neighbourhood (parties and Clubs close)

Beautiful Hotel but the hotel is located next to a night club that plays loud music until 2 in the morning. Also, loud motorcycles & cars outside the club. I would not recommend staying here due to the noise level.
