Staff members were very helpful and responsive to my needs. They provided me with a small fridge for my meds requiring refrigeration. Breakfast included with daily price was an excellent perk. Wished there was brewed coffee, or additional coffee packets with breakfast; also some kind of fruit juice and some kind of dessert. A minimum of 2 door keys should be provided even if guest is only one so that one can be left to keep the electric on throughout the day.

It was very clean and comfortable. The price was fair and the location excellent. The free coffee at the lobby was a bonus and the breakfast was really good. The staff were generally very polite and helpful, friendly. I really liked the french feeling front of the building and how well maintained and clean the facilities was. It could get quite noisy and the french doors/windows could use thicker glass to shield from the noise on the street. It would also be good to be issued a receipt; this was not automatic and upon check-out the lady at the desk failed to give me a receipt. It also felt strange to be asked for ID for an extra key. There was also no place in the hotel to sit and have a meeting or video call. It would be good to have space for guests to sit and work or meet other people esp for late night calls. I could not even use the restaurant. It was very inconvenient to have to sit on the stairs for a business call.

Clean and good breakfast N/a

Our stay was pleasant. The room, cr, the restaurant, the place overall are clean and excellent. I would love to return and stay again next time. None that I can think of.

Ultra-scented room! I walked in and it overwhelmed me. I started to itch and my throat got itchy. I notified the front desk staff about it and they advised that I open the windows to vent it out. I left for the day and came back at night and the scent was still there though not as strong. I lay down and discovered that it was the beddings that was scented. No bueno as this causes a reaction for me. I notified the night staff and requested non-scented beddings. He was kind enough to try and accommodate my request though they did not have any. He did manage to find a much lesser scented ones and replaced the ones in the room. It made the room tolerable. I was ready to transfer somewhere else if it was not remedied. Overall, a good and pleasant stay.

The staffs need to retraining for there job.

Shower didn't quite drain properly/easily.

Nothing! They have different rates posted vs what the actual price. To all foreigners , think twice, what u see online upon booking is not accurate, they will charge you more even if it says its non refundable they will still say you need to pay them in property. Its false advertising, and they say its the booking.com fault. Plus they knock on your door at 7am for breakfast! This is not good. You dont disturb your guest! And 9am for housekeeping! This is a horrible hotel. Please please skip this hotel!

Poor communication and misleading payment information.

The menu is actually more of Lunch.

The hotel looks aesthetically good like European or old Spanish inspired building and the location is very convenient, close to everything. It has all the basic amenities you need if you are mostly outside. Just a slight miscommunication since we were informed late of the additional payment for the extra person, which we paid but we had to pay for extra breakfast meal when it was supposed to be covered by the payment if they only informed us sooner, and we had to request for extra pillow. They did not send anything for the extra person we paid for like towels, bed, hygiene kit nor explained what we get out of the payment. We also didn’t ask because it was already past 9pm and we just got back from a tour, exhausted. I hope it was clearly communicated at check in to avoid confusion.

The staff were responsive, friendly and helpful. The architecture as well is beautiful. It was quite noisy. I can hear the noise of the cars outside, and footsteps from the next floor above us, and we can hear the movement of people outside. I was not really able to sleep because the noise kept startling me.

Near restaurants and accessible The style is kinda old but clean. Breakfast is serve in the room which is good but of course sometimes served a little late but its fine unless we have someone with us who really is bit strict ?

Facade is really nice. Clean and decent - as hotel rooms should be. Budget hotel but with a very nice facade. So expect basic minimum-level facilities and service. Kinda misleading considering the facade looks really nice.

The staffs are nice, the place is very homey, the room is spacious & the bed is comfy to have a good sleep. It's a good hotel to stay within D.C.

Location is near the city center Bedsheets and pillow cases had a strong fabric conditioner smell. It wasn’t pleasant at all. The breakfast was basic, no fruits!
