University Park Inn & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Beautifully landscaped, well maintained, quiet, and helpful staff!

One thing to note is that there was no breakfast available, despite the website suggesting otherwise. It may be helpful for the hotel to update that information. They did, however, offer complimentary coffee and tea on-site at any time, which was a nice touch. The location was excellent—super close to downtown, and everywhere I wanted to go was less than a 10-minute walk away. The air conditioning also worked amazingly well, which was especially appreciated given how hot Davis can get. My only real downside was housekeeping. I was asked if I wanted housekeeping service during my stay, and I said yes and even scheduled a time, but no one ever came by. It wasn’t a major issue, but I was hoping to have the trash emptied since I was bringing takeout back to the room each day. Overall, this was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Wrong room upon arrival and they would not correct it. They put me next to mechanical room. When I complained about the noise they moved me to the suite I should have had initially. I got to repack all of my stuff and move in 105 F.

Parking was close Rooms where dirty, they had to switch us and the other room was behind a gas station. Kept hearing strangers yelling. It's close to the have traffic. There was too much light coming in and didn't feel safe.

Its walking distance from the train station and downtown. I was concerned with the ear plugs to drown out the train noise, but I never heard the train. I slept great! Nice bed!

Amazing, friendly and clean.

Loud. Very close to train and highway. Hard to sleep. Sheets dirty. Air conditioner unit was too loud and rattled frequently.

I would come again in spite of the difficult access to the location and proximity to the freeway. It was very clean and the staff was super friendly and it really is a charming property.

A real gem! The rooms were spacious and clean.

Wouldn’t stay here again

Beautiful grounds, love the bunnies. I don't carry cash and wasn't able to tip housekeeping since the front desk couldn't add the tip to my card. The beds were too high for my dogs to get up and down from themselves. I had to lift them in and out of bed. The lighting needs improvement. The laundry required quarters.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean, and the pool was really nice.

Exceptional

Our stay at the University Park Inn & Suites was very pleasant. The rooms are simple and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Our room was on the ground level, looking out to a nice grassy area with plants and flowers. I will stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for a quick girls weekend away. We hung out at the pool, walked to downtown Davis for dinners and drinks and the staff were super accommodating. It’s very clean. Pool is great. No fee for parking and all in all was a great location! We would definitely recommend!!

Lovely property with nice rooms and shaded walking paths. We ended up in the farthest room from the office and the Internet would not work. The TV barely worked because it kept losing signal. It wouldn’t allow casting to the TV so we weren’t able to relax and watch TV during our stay.

Great location, dog friendly No place to wait for room with my dog. Too hot to stay in the car. Didn't want to leave my bag/ laptop in the car parked somewhere b/c Picnic Day brings in a lot of people & crime that isn't typical of Davis
