The place was OK, but not great. Handy to main strip and restaurants. Nice big TV and comfortable bed. Pretty pricey for old style motel in the midst of renovations. We paid $250 a night for a spa bath unit and that seemed over the top for what we got. Unit comfortable enough, but not a lot of room and fairly dark. Overdue for renovation.Parking very tight.

Comfortable, clean, convenient. After hours checkin was a little confusing but honestly that was probably my own fault. Quickly resolved by staff.

Location was fantastic and the historic building was lovely. Staff were really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay there again! Nothing really other than it was a little bit cold in the bathroom, but not a deal breaker.

The location was fabulous. Close to everything. As we were staying mid-winter we paid extra to get a room with a cosy open fire, so we could enjoy the crackle of the wood burning while sipping a glass of red before dinner. We are old hats at lighting a fire and kindling had been provided. Unfortunately, the logs provided were way too large and only caught light briefly around the edges. In my opinion the logs should have been split (at least in half) and a real fire could have been enjoyed. However, the fire petered out before we left for dinner. Also, it was a bit of a guess as to when the flu was open or shut. I figured it out by trial and error, but a few words of instruction would have been good. Furthermore there was no one in reception on our arrival nor later, so there was nobody to ask for help. We could have paid less and had the same experience, so it was a bit disappointing from that point of view.
