Having two staff members give completely contradictory answers to the exact same request with one turning us away outright while the other offered a clear, paid policy option is frustrating and confusing. Furthermore, the dismissive attitude of the first clerk left a negative impression at the end of our stay. I expect consistent training and accurate communication from your staff so that guests are not given conflicting information depending on who they speak to. I hope you will address this with your front desk team to ensure better service for future guests.

We appreciated the pet-friendly nature of the hotel, however the staff was not knowledgeable of the portion of the beach that was pet-friendly. The welcome staff was friendly, and even though we were told our room would be ready early, it was not ready until 3:50pm. We arrived to the area early to eat lunch on the beach and contacted the hotel to inquire about early check-in or using the facilities. They said we could come early and it was 1:30p at the time. We were not informed about pets not being allowed in the pool area until after arrival, which was unfortunate as that meant I had to wait in the lobby while my family enjoyed the pool area. This was an important piece of information that could have shaped the weekend stay in a more positive way, but set it up negatively. Pet friendly facility, however the portion of the beach where we stayed was NOT pet-friendly. We could only walk our dog around the parking lot and a small portion of the hotel. Our dachshund was not allowed in the pool area and we found out quickly after walking the beach, when approached by the local sheriff that the portion of the beach we were walking was not friendly for animals. The sheriff was very kind and understanding of our misinformation and allowed us to make the short walk back to the hotel. There was a towel shortage that was quite inconvenient. The beds were very firm and box-springs may have been more comfortable. It took the room quite some time to cool down and the water pressure was non-existent. For more than $200/night, plus the $84 pet fee, I expected much more. Breakfast was not included and it was $60 for four. One alcoholic beverage from the bar was $24 before tip.

The room I had was on the north side, one level over the parking lot. It was dark and definitely needed a refreshed makeover. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. I appreciated the fast breakfast so I did think it was included. it wasn’t. Also, the parking wasn’t included so just make sure you know all of the charges. Also know that the Hilton grand vacation club and this hotel don’t communicate very well. The rate on Expedia was much better than Hilton could offer directly.

They need to get some new pool furniture.

Nice new hotel. Stayed 4 nights, did not have maid service (towels and trash only) for two days. Despite commenting to the front desk that we were leaving the room (around noon each day) and wanted it cleaned. They did provide clean towels on request. Not clear why the hot pool was filled in with sand although I never asked. But room was nice....

Simone on the other hand should not be in hospitality. She sat on her phone while Emily did all the work. When I came back to talk about the room being right by the mechanical room (loud) and there being a big dog on the floor, she showed no care at all. (See further down for the interaction). Issues with the hotel and our room. It is right beside a gutted hotel which is an eye sore for sure. The pool needs repairs. The floor of the pool was broken at spots. The pool was not clean at all, nor the deck around the pool. Now to the room: Shower door doesn't close. The towel hanger was broken. The bathroom wall was dirty. The lamp was dirty in the room and had bugs. The glass doors to the ocean view were dirty which hindered the view. Interaction with Simone. i came down because of the noisy dog and being right beside the mechanical room (after stating that i didn't want to be near the elevator because of the noise). Simone who was on her phone, acted bothered that i had a problem. She then acted like she didn't have any more rooms available. Then she said she could move me to a higher floor but acted like that was a problem as well. She then put me by the elevator. There were other issues, but you get the idea.

easy access to the beach and a mall directly across the street. Unfortunately, our experience at this Hilton Garden Inn was well below our expectations. We were not lucky with our room view, as there were several buildings under construction right next to the hotel. It was also disappointing that the pool bar was closed during the week, even during the busy summer vacation season. The pool itself is in need of renovation and better maintenance. It looked quite worn and was not always clean. On one day, there was even a cockroach in the pool area. There were also no umbrellas available. The restaurant staff could also benefit from additional training to better reflect the level of service expected from the Hilton brand. Overall, this property was unfortunately well below what we expected from Hilton.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the view was AMAZING. Having the beach right outside the hotel made the stay even better—you can literally step out back and enjoy the ocean. For the location, quality of the hotel, and experience, I thought the price point was very reasonable. Some of the breakfast options do cost extra, but they were definitely worth it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and I had no complaints at all. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for families, couples, solo travelers, or anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway. Daytona Beach itself may not have a huge amount of activities depending on what you’re looking for, but this hotel alone made the trip worthwhile. The Hilton was OUTSTANDING, and I would absolutely stay here again!
