Sand Castle Motel

My room was a regular queen bed room with a kitchenette. No other cooking items to cook with, utensils and such so it was useless. Usually my stays with kitchenettes they have small basic things like a few cookware items and some cooking utensils. Some dishware and silverware. Which is usually mixed matched. But none were there. I had several roommates, ROACHES, who did not want to go to their roach motels that were around the room. I took a few pictures of them. I did not notify management about the insect situation but I will. The bed was comfortable and the a/c unit worked very well. Shower and bathroom were fine. This is my second stay here and I'd say that my first was definitely better.

The location is great. Very comfortable stay, people are all nice around there. Having the right amount of towels for the stay.

This was our second trip here. We loved the in room jacuzzi and the room was clean and comfortable. The mattress however, was very uncomfortable but that didn’t impact our opinion. We will return to this property next time we’re in this area.

It is a older motel so some stuff was just expected to be mid. However the management could do stuff to improve the place. Also there is no elevator again older place but something I would of like to know before getting a room on the 3rd floor with a family.. but room was pretty clean and bed was pretty comfortable Staff handled most things quickly. There was so sketchy wiring in the bathroom luckily we have older kids. Awesome location as far as the beach. We will definitely stay again but request a bottom floor next time. Pool was nice too. Wish it stayed open a bit later..

It was clean and quiet. Bath mat was gross. They gave only two towels to bathe but no hand towels. Had no coffee just the pot.

This was my second time staying at this reasonably priced beach front motel. My room was clean and spacious with a kitchenette, efficient air conditioning, comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. Although somewhat dated the motel is well maintained and managed. The motel staff are all courteous and professional. There were plenty of onsite parking spaces available for guests. The pool area was well maintained. I enjoyed my stays here and would definitely stay again when in the Daytona Beach area.
