Clean room. Bed was horrible!!! Spring broken. Loud and painfully uncomfortable

The bathroom floor in front of the toilet was NASTY! The group was stained and there was something stuck to the floor. Breakfast was a joke. The waffle mix was separated and the milk in the fridge looked spoiled. Someone in the second floor was smoking pot in their room and you could smell it as you walked by.

Clean Motel style

Front desk staff were very welcoming and kind. Parking lot was very tight to get through. Room smelled extremely musty and I didnt feel comfortable showering in the shower because it just didn’t look clean and there was a dead grasshopper in it. One of our pillows wasn’t clean, but the rest of the bedding was clean and stain free. Breakfast was waffles and cereal so we went somewhere else.

The hotel had been updated and was very nice. The rooms were very clean, but you could tell it had once been an old hotel. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was medium. There was no bagels or toast or fruit available. Overall, a good hotel for the money.

First of all, the front desk clerks (owners?) were extremely friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The room was very clean. I was in town due to a family member being in the hospital, so I was up at dawn and back at midnight each day. I never heard any outside noise. I also never got to try the breakfast, unfortunately. It was a great place to catch some sleep!

I stayed here during the week for about 2 1/2 months for work. They were so good to me. Very clean, great staff, and a wonderful experience!

I got there around 11am because I was needing to leave my car throughout the day, I went in and asked if that was okay. Staff was very friendly and said it was no problem and even let me check in early. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. I did not eat breakfast but I did stop by. They had a not large but an okay selection of items. They also had a little snack station if you needed anything throughout the night, and a few misc items, like headache meds and stuff like that. I would highly recommend and would stay again if I was in the area.

I liked the lady at the front desk because she was very friendly. I liked the room because it was very clean and comfortable. I didn’t like that I had to go somewhere else for breakfast.

This is a gem of a hotel right in the middle of downtown Decatur available to everything and the owner manager could not be nicer. He is on site and very attentive to whatever you need.

Location was quiet, enjoyable stay

Honestly I was surprised when I went for breakfast and I expected just something simple. Which it kinda was but they had a waffle maker and things to add to your waffle. They had several different types of juice for you to have a long with coffee, cereal, different types of yogurts, fresh fruits and milk. They also had a nice little sitting area for you to enjoy your breakfast. I will be returning there again. Once again for everything. Oh yeah the beds were extremely comfortable so were the bed sheets and comforters. Plenty of towels. I can't complain to be honest.

This is not a resort but for the price and convenience, we highly recommend it! Thanks!
