Taj Palace, New Delhi

Good Taj property in the Diplomatic Enclave. Came back after 13 years because the staff was fantastic the first time. It’s isolated so there’s no bustling street life or cafes. One all day restaurant in the hotel and the service is super slow.

Clean room and quick and easy check out My flight landed late and on top that atm card was having issue and upon requesting staff to make an outgoing call, I was given run around to use the local phone. At the end I had to express my frustration to the receptionist that this is crazy that to make one local phone I cannot use the phone on her desk. And they were not even busy with other client

The hotel, surroundings, ambience, and breakfast were good. However, I was disappointed with the service. When I enquired about the airport pick-up before my arrival, the staff member spoke to me very rudely. I never expected this kind of behaviour from such a reputed hotel chain. I have stayed at many hotels before and have never had such an unpleasant experience. Another issue was with housekeeping. We went out during the day expecting the room to be cleaned, but when we returned around 11:00 PM, it had not been cleaned. We were too tired to call and complain, so we had to use the same towels again. If guests need to leave the room key or inform the reception for housekeeping, this should be clearly explained during check-in. One more thing that made us feel uncomfortable was the welcome. We noticed that other guests were being welcomed with garlands, but we were not. It may have been because we arrived late, and perhaps there was a reason, but it made us feel a little left out.

From the very beginning, Ms. Sakshi demonstrated remarkable professionalism, genuine care, and excellent communication skills. She was extremely professional, courteous, and attentive throughout the check-in process. She accommodated my request promptly and ensured everything was handled efficiently, making my arrival smooth and comfortable. wish the rooms were a little bigger

Amazing location and accessibility. Great lobby area My room wasn’t cleaned well. There were garbage lying on floor from previous guest under the table. Plant vase water was stale. Accidentally it fell and water spilled and the smell was horrible of water stinking as it was probably not changed for may be a week.

We had upgraded to club facilities - the F & B offered at the Club Lounge needs to be better - it surely was not TAJ standard! F & B at the club lounge The bedroom had no full length mirror The sink console was very tight - could not accommodate my amenities

Room was neat and clean. Super brakefast. Lounge was amazing. Staff Shreya did a great job in providing everything. Nothing.

Reception and house keeping staff were helpful. Special mention to Mr Hava Singh at concierge desk. Went out of his way to help in all ways possible.

This was my first stay at a Taj property and, having heard so many good things, I was disappointed that the service felt inefficient and some staff interactions lacked basic politeness.

Breakfast was reasonably good. Range of eggs like Akuri must be offered too. The Indian food range was good but service/delivery could be better. All rest spread and services including House keeping have been very good I booked via Booking.com since room rates on your website were higher. Booked through Booking.com as I got a good deal and had the hold and cancel options. That helped. But sadly being a Tata Neu Member I could not avail any special deals or discounts. Also the stay / booking points are not credited to my Tata New Account since I booked via Booking.com. What a loss. My loyalties towards Booking.com OR TAJ??

It was excellent experinece staying at Taj Palace , the occasion was my wife's Birthday and it went very well with hotel staff coopearion and hospitality. Indeed enjoyed staying there and will visit again smooth check in and letting them feeling us as special guest not ordinary person .

I liked the room and the laundry service I did not like the amount of time I have to wait for the reception to check out. I had to miss around 15 mins of my meeting

Breakfast was poor

Welcoming staff, good location. Old hotel and room. No iron box in room. Exaust fan doesnt work properly. Washroom too small for the amount paid.
