Our room was on the side of the property closest to the train tracks. The train horns were very loud in the night. A member of the housekeeping staff entered our room without knocking or announcing herself the day before we were scheduled to check out. The room was a bit worn and fairly basic. This property seems to get most of its guests from cruise line package tours, and so has very limited parking, inconveniently located. The grounds and amenities were nice. All in all, this property seems to perhaps be coasting a bit, not trying hard to attract guests other than the cruise line package visitors.

Way overpriced for what was provided
-
The staff that did assist us was awesome, our only complaint is that no one cleaned our room once while we stayed.
-
Amazing property! Staff is super helpful and kind, the rooms are spacious and very clean. All amenities were great! So much to do in the property.
-
The walls are very thin and we can hear conversations, water running etc. etc. Noisy due to that.
-
Location I was double charged. Haven't heard a response back yet. Over $900 a night
-
Staff seemed very unhappy.

I would not stay here again since the money paid is not worth at all for the quality and amenities provided, not to mention noise levels.

Only ate dinner and it was OK. Menu was limited so we also ate at other restaurants in the area. Was there for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. Hallways in the morning were full of dirty linens. No elevators and parking area was not paved so moving luggage was a little bit of an issue. Location to the park was good and bus pickup outside the lobby was very convenient. More options for breakfast versus a $30 buffet. Daily room cleaning or at least emptying trash. Table and chairs in room were nice but would have liked a lounge chair for relaxing after hiking. Would be nice to have king bed rooms available.

The rest. The room was tiny, the beds not comfy, the restaurant was expensive, our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we had to wait almost 4 hours for it. I have been in housekeeping at a campground, you clean your arrivals first as soon as they check out. Upon checking out, you dropped your key in a box on the desk. Those should be handed straight to the staff member who then can radio and have housekeeping in that room taking care if it immediately. I know with my reservation, staff knew I was arriving on the 12:30 train so I assumed our room would be ready. After our trip, with a young toddler, we were ready for our room for a little bit before exploring more.

I really appreciated being dropped off at the bus depot at a time they normally don’t. The shuttle bus but I wish for longer hours. Food was good. River access. The room did not feel very private you could hear people outside and blinds did not feel like they fully covered the windows. Even with all the lights on inside it felt dark and hard to see. When using the shower the water was not very warm and about 2min in it started making a very loud sound that could be heard coming from the other room as well.

There are no refrigerators in the room, but there are nearby ice dispensers. Although we drove ourselves, there seemed to be shuttle service to park and other adventures. I would highly recommend this place.

Room amenities can be improved. Breakfast, staff and parking were convenient

Just a few things that bothered us during our stay, check in was a little over 30 minutes past check in time and there was no compensation while we needed to wait. Our coffee maker in the room wasn’t working and when two different staff members were told one said “well that sucks.” As I proceeded to pay for a $4 drip coffee. A drink/coffee voucher would have been much appreciated for the amount we paid for a room. The noise from the bridge made it difficult to sleep throughout the night. No fault of the property, just something to keep in mind, ear plugs would be a good touch. Overall, we would stay at this property again.

Bed was comfortable Building was to close to road and railroad tracks. Place was noisy and too much money was paid for such a terrible location. Not a place to stay if traveling by car. This place is for tourist on a travel package thru a cruise ship.

Spacious room. Limited plug points. Bathroom has a very noisy fan. Location is great for easy access to Denali National Park.

For being so close to Denali State Park and being so reasonably price I was not expecting to have a stay this nice! The room was perfect for 3 people, the bathroom was a touch small but overall I can’t complain! The bathroom could have been bigger, I only say that as we used it as a changing room, if you change in the main part of the room then I would have no complaints!!

No AC. Check in is at 4 but room still wasn't ready. Clean but age is showing.
