Embassy Suites by Hilton Destin Miramar Beach

Accessibility to local entertainment. Parking was very scarce.

I liked the room it was spacious with two closets and a second vanity in the bedroom, the proximity to the beach was about 5-minute walk, the breakfast was good and had plenty of options. The chairs around the eating area need to be replaced as the seats were worn out. This was our first time at this hotel and the last, there was nothing wrong with the service, staff or accommodations, we just prefer to stay by Crystal Beach and Destin Commons.

This property is “dated”. Our room had a stale/musty/closed off smell but was overall clean. The carpets in the common areas were filthy and furniture is badly worn in need of replacement. The staff was very friendly and accommodating which made up for the other not-so-great attributes. The complimentary breakfast was also really nice offering a variety of items to fit everyone’s dietary needs. Overall 7/10

Great location the evening reception drinks were good bartender was great. Think they could do better with the snacks provided. Furniture is outdated on the outside and inside, but I did hear that renovation is coming later this year and it’s much needed for the furniture even in the eating area chairs are worn out outside when you walk up the chairs that are sat outside. They are worn down pillows, looking old and damaged. Beach access is across the street which is great. It’s a short walk for the price of your pay beach. Umbrella and chair should be complementary.

Everything was amazing from the rooms, breakfast made to order foods, hotel atmosphere to the pool and beach access! Girls trip to Destin in the books!

The location was great and the staff was wonderful. I woke up one morning and had three insect bites on my hand and two on my arm. I also had one behind my ear. I did not have any insect bites before I went to bed or throughout the day. Also, the chairs in the lobby and the seating to eat were so worn. The fabric had come apart on the chairs.

I enjoyed the breakfast and the location was excellent. The hotel did not offer fresh coffee in the lobby area. I enjoy this perk and wish that it was offered.

What I didn’t like about our check in was the staff put us in a single queen when my booking was for 2 queens and a sofa bed. I have to go down again and redid my hotel keys and that was very inconvenient as we were tired and ready to settle in the room with all our luggages. Her name was Renesha. She did not pay attention to what she should do. She also gave us wrong info on the hours for the free drinks. Lots of mistakes.

Michael at the front desk and Anthony at the Calypso restaurant are amazing. Their incredible service exceeded expectations. The breakfast is so delicious and the breakfast staff are friendly, kept the tables clean and are happy to assist anyone to keep everything running smoothly. Having a private beach across the street is a welcome bonus. We rate our overall experience 5+. We will be back! We ate at the Calypso restaurant twice. Anthony was so attentive and his service was excellent, however, the food was not as good as the breakfast.

The breakfast had a lot of good options and overall good service. Front desk lady was very helpful we plan to return next year for summer vacation.

The staff was excellent. The property is getting an upgrade/renovation in October, one employee told me. Another employee said it’s happening in December. There are several parts in the hotel that definitely needed repair/updating… Especially in the bathrooms.

The location to the beach was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this hotel.

I hate the fact that I didn’t get my refund back since I had to leave a day early! I was told over the phone prior to coming that we had football camp well my husband did for high school referees and that camp was on that Saturday the 8th so that we checked out Friday but was told since I booked with Expedia that I wouldn’t be refunded

The hotel was immaculate. The beach was beautiful and a short walk. The pool was very basic. Happy hour was nice and all the staff was helpful.
