The location was within the diplomatic area of the city so seemed secure. However transport was hard to obtain as a result. The poor cleanliness of the rooms and dated furnishing. The rooms we were allocated had insect infestation under the beds particularly mosquitos were constantly present and biting through the night. The water from the taps was brown in colour. The buffet meals provided at breakfast was very limited. We had to leave the hotel after one night despite having booked for two to seek better accommodation.

The location was very convenient. Close to the US embassy and in a very clean, safe and secure place. The staff were nice and helpful. We booked double deluxe room with King bed’s. But we were given single beds instead. Later, upon confronting the front desk, they changed it to the correct room

The room was spacious with several possibilities to sit. On the table a plate with fruits; beside of the coffee and tea a bottle of water (1 liter) was offered. The mattress was excellent (hard). Breakfast-coffee is brewed and not instant (as experienced in other places). Quiet neighborhood with little traffic (the planes once in a while are hearable if one wants to hear them). Close to the Gulshan Badda Lake, which has a good walking path. There was nothing, really to be disliked. Some people might want to have bathrooms with newer installations, but as long everything is functioning well, this is marginal. It could be mentioned that for hot bathing, water has to run for a while; but only important from an environmental point of view.
