The Way has a lot of potential, but my experience was frustrating due to repeated issues. Housekeeping failed to clean my room, and communication was poor—it often took days for the hotel to respond to messages. The biggest problem, however, was the billing. Guests are overcharged through exorbitant exchange rates. Bring USD, because the rate charged in local currency is not the same as what you’ll find on XE. The hotel claims this is standard practice for five-star hotels, but when booking through Agoda or Booking.com, prices are listed in USD, and other hotels honor those rates. The Way, however, used its own conversion rates—and even tried to change the rate from my Agoda invoice. They eventually relented, but the process was ridiculous. A hotel is not a bank and should not be making money from foreign exchange rates. As for the stay itself, the property is more four-star than five. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. On the positive side, the location is quiet, set off a side street, which was a relief. Overall, the hotel looks good on the surface, but with poor service, questionable billing practices, and lack of attention to detail, it falls well short of the five-star standard it claims to be.

I went from New York to Dhaka that night with pre booking confirmation for 2 person in 1 room but they didn't allow my partner. she felt embarrased. finally we could didn't stay there and book another 5 star hotel.

The staff and the location The TV should have more internacional channels. Ony three channels available.

restaurant menu and service Poor location, poor service, noisy room, you can literally hear noise from other rooms and the noise from people walking and talking early morning, a total rip off. They should be ranked 3 stars only.

Good hotel and helpful staff. I recommend it for both business and personal travel. The breakfast is also quite decent.

Excellent boutique hotel, luxurious rooms, great pool, friendly v helpful staff Great omelette chef (who said he was actually pastry chef). Reliable transfer when landing in country first time Breakfast buffet rather limited maybe due to Eid but nonetheless bit repetitive for 4 night stay . Other food v good .

Location was good but unfortunately our experience at check with communication and billing was very confusing We were left with various invoice charges still not had any clear clarification as to why £94 charges this was in addition to the city tax and room service in addition there was a separate £255.66p that they later canceled we’re still trying to get some answers but response to emails have been zero!

Excellent boutique hotel located in a quiet leafy neighborhood….the breakfast was excellent as were the meals in the restaurant….comfortable bed in a large room Only thing I can think of was we only had a shower and not a bathtub which I prefer…all else was pretty much perfect
