The room was alright, front desk staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good too. Housekeeping seems to be lacking just a bit at this location. If this were any other hotel chain I would have been surprised, but from a Hampton I expected more. The pool was almost completely out of towels and I noticed that the hamper for used towels was nearly overflowing. The pool itself seemed kind of dirty on the bottom. I saw what looked like a few dead bugs in there. The equipment in the gym was run down, TV screens on the treadmill weren't working. We had some friends who stayed in another room on the same night and they told us that the shampoo and conditioner bottles in their shower were empty. We also tried to check in roughly 1 hour early but were told that the housekeeping hadn't cleared our rooms or any other rooms yet. I thought this was odd.

The staff were carrying and well trained. Comfortable room, hottub and pool, great location to theodore roosevelt national park & grasslands.

clean, quiet, very comfortable AC in first room did not work and maintenance guy tried to convince it was ok. But they did switch our room and all was well in the second room.
