The location was excellent, close to the town of Dinan and attractively positioned alongside the river Rance.
-
Very clean, spacious and modern hotel in a good location. I found it very difficult to find using a satnav, the post code actually sent me to the other side of the river and I had to ask for directions from a local. Surely there must be code that would direct me closer to the hotel.

Great location, updated rooms and lobby area The corridors were old and a bit smelly. Although it didn’t feel busy, the staff had difficulty keeping up with breakfast items, were constantly running out of provisions
-
Location was excellent, rooms were spacious and recently remodeled. Staff were helpful The corridors were outdated and need refreshing, the staff were not on top of breakfast supplies
-
Easy parking, clean and modern room. Close to the medieval town center. Beautiful scenery.
-
Remote location. Hard to find when first arriving.
-
Very accommodating staff that also speaks English and very pleasant personalities. The young ladies that work the reception area and bar could not have been nicer and provide a great image for the hotel. Nothing. It was one of the most enjoyable 2 night stays on our 12 days through France.
-
The only thing which was bothersome was the light that comes on automatically above the door to the room and it goes on and off every time you walk around.
-
Location Hard to get to the parking -but figured out more of google maps was wrong
-
A super location overlooking the Port, the room was excellent
-
Super location, friendly staff, restful quiet room. All good
-
Excellent location, close to restaurants and shops, very pleasant. It smelled like a new carpet glue, There was no instruction on the room phone how to contact the staff and we had to walk the reception desk for assistance.

The drive to the hotel was a bit of a surprise....be prepared to drive through what appears to be a pedestrian zone along one side of the river, and then up and around the river, and back onto a 1 way street that essentially dead ends in the hotel. But, we found sufficient parking behind the hotel.

Everything was great. I would particularly single out the location of the hotel and the beautiful surroundings. Fairy tale. I just don't understand Accor Hotel's policy regarding wi-fi. To use it in the hotel, you have to register with your personal details. If you don't want to do that, then you can use a slower connection service, but even then you have to give your email address. I mean, I'm a guest in your hotel, I've already given you my details, how much more of my personal details do you need? Just give me the wi-fi password, like in any other normal hotel.

The room was very nice and clean, in a great location. You can walk to the city centre which is also very beautiful, we loved our stay. Parking was also an advantage. Super friendly staff.

What a delightful, modern hotel beside the canal outside the walled city of Dinan! The canal area is picture-postcard perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable, with the added conveniences of electric window shades, spacious shower, and a room safe. We made good use of the hotel's robust spa. Had the weather been just-a-little warmer, we'd have availed ourselves of the outdoor pool, as well. The buffet breakfast was both diverse and delicious, with a wide array of tasty offerings. The staff could not have been friendlier, nor more helpful. A special shout-out to Bruce, who, that evening, was on-duty at both the Front Desk and behind the bar when we decided upon a nightcap. He makes a mean Old Fashioned, shared perceptive stories of his own travels, and provided us with many helpful (and appreciated) suggestions. He's a credit to the Mercure Dinan team! We enjoyed everything about our stay.
