The location in town, straight out into the beautiful streets of Dinan. The fan in the room was useful because it was during the heat wave and it kept us cool at night. The smiley lady who gave us our keys. The room was clean. Unfortunately (but maybe fortunately if you support PSG).. we stayed the night that PSG won the football and there was a very loud party, fireworks and chanting in the street outside until past 2am. This was not the fault of the property.. but it did mean we didn't sleep well and sadly we had an early start (or maybe we would have joined in). The location in town was really wonderful in the early evening and afternoon.. but not so great at 2am on a Saturday night after a big football match ..bring ear plugs if the football is on!

Very central and extremely good value for the location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet even if over the coffee bar. Although notified in advance about steep stairs they were quite difficult to manage with even a small bag. Not somewhere for children.

The location in the middle of Dinan is perfect. It is very comfortable & well appointed. The attached co-owned cafe serves great coffee in the morning & a superb bakery is just opposite. It is 10 minutes walk from the railway station which takes you to Dol de bretagne where you can catch trains to Rennes & St Malo. Equally there is a local coach to Rennes. Perfect for a stay in Dinan. N/A

Unfortunately our holiday was ruined by the hotel being infested with bed bugs. We were moved from one room to another and still there were bed bugs. The owner did not even apologise to us! I was bitten in excess of 250 times.

Location was excellent, right in the old city area. It had a lovely window over looking the theatre and a busy square. The bar downstairs was great and full of tourists and locals alike. The shower was small and the shower hose was needed changing as it had seen better days.

Great location. The room was stunningly small, but that was fine actually, sinice we were expecting that. We had some unpleasant discussion about the breakfast time, but the staff lady, which is a Beautiful Intelligent Talented CHarming person solved that out.

Wonderful old building right in the old town. A treat to stay in! The staff were very friendly and helpful and organised safe storage for our bikes, which was much appreciated!! Nothing, it was great! Just be aware there is no air con but that’s because it’s a glorious old building! We just opened the windows, the town is very quiet at night.

The breakfast was excellent. Served in the small, lively cafe on the ground floor- coffee, juice, lovely crusty bread, galettes, croissants, fruit compote and yoghurt. Our room on the second floor was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and I had an excellent night's sleep. This is an old building with beautiful tall windows, allowing lots of light and air through. The bathroom was spotless, large window also. The room was cleaned daily. The owner stored our bikes in a locked garage. Nothing really.

Location and friendly host. Narrow stairs may be a problem if you are not mobile.

Location, location! The hotel is central to the old city with parking super close. The cafe underneath is excellent, great breakfast and a great place for apero time. We sat and watched the world walk by as the sun set.
