The laocation and the host, Deeshan, were both amazing! The beach is so quiet there - it’s like a private beach. We liked everything although a fridge to which we had easy access (even a communal fridge) would have been great (although Deeshan was happy to provide cold water when he was around)

I stayed for 2 weeks and I can say I'm in love with this place! All new facilities (silent AC etc), proximity to the beach (like several meters), cleanliness, location is close to the fish market (one could buy and order fish prepared differently at the hotel), quietness, no insects spotted, while not that far from the turtle beach. Amazing staff, whom I'm missing already dearly. There's a lake nearby (10 minutes away) on foot, where one could do some Kayaking for 1000/h Ruppies with scenery views. As a tempted traveller I can say that the place is indeed the perl in the Indian ocean.

Kavin Beach Hotel is a real gem. The location is fantastic, it’s truly beachfront and on a lovely, quiet stretch of beach but still very accessible to the livelier parts of Hikkaduwa by a long walk or a quick and inexpensive tuk-tuk ride. My room was spacious and very clean, with good fan and AC. The owners are so incredibly kind and accommodating, here to help with whatever you need and lovely just to chat with as well. I originally booked for two nights but stayed for four and would definitely stay again if I’m back in Hikkaduwa.

This "hotel" has only 5 rooms ? we had one with an ocean view. The room is nice, big with comfortable beds, nice, big bathroom with super shower with hot water. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they can organise everything. We could stay longer on the day of check out!!! We are very grateful for that ? if you are looking for a quiet place with literally nothing around, this is the perfect place for you. Around just the basic shop and few restaurants. Only breakfast could be better, we just had toast, scrambled eggs with jam etc.

Very friendly host. Excellent breakfast. We stayed for three days, and during that time, they could have changed the towels and cleaned the room, as it was full of sand from the beach. A bit away from the city center.

The hotel is a bit aside from the city, the beach is very quiet- we have enjoyed it a lot. Rooms are new and comfortable, breakfast was outstanding. One of the best things about the place is hotel staff I can’t think of anything

Thank you Pramosh, Patrick and Jaya for the wonderful hospitality you guys have shown from proactively giving tips to avoid getting scammed, recommending best places for water activities, adjusting breakfast timings to ensure I don't remain empty stomach till lunch to taking me on their scooty for currency exchange and utilities. I can't recommend this hotel enough, a proper 10/10 stay. The wifi in my room was a bit weak but no complaints if you have a local sim

The owners were super nice and the location and breakfast was amazing. We were even able to do a lagoon tour and they also tried to teach us how to climb a coconut tree. All in all 11/10 - totally recommend this hotel :)

The best thing was the people who are running this place. So friendly, they would literally help us with anything we needed help with which is super useful with a 1yr old baby. The food was local and amazing too!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect with access to a beautiful quite beach at the edge of Hikkaduwwa which was a plus to avoid the tourists hotspot. The hotel and room were very nicely decorated. Above all the staff were amazing. Both Pramosh and Patrick made us feel home from the moment we arrived. They arranged delicious breakfast everyday, did a lagoon excursion for us and when we left it felt hard to say goodbye. We would definitely go back to this hotel not only for the location and facilities but definitely for the great staff and hospitality. - WiFi access in the room could be improved and maybe offering card payment. But these are very small things, generally we had Ana amazing time.

We had a very good stay. The owner was very friendly and was always there to make our stay enjoyable. We loved the hospitality. The room was clean. The location was great, only steps from the beach that was calm and beautiful. I can recommend this hotel!

The Hotel Manager was very helpful! Everything was taken care of and he even left an umbrella without me asking! Really nice person, we had great talks.

Amazing stay at Kavin Beach Hotel! I recently stayed at Kavin Beach Hotel and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable environment. Mr. Pramosh was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The hotel’s location is perfect, close to Kumarakanda Vihara Temple, supermarket and my favourite restaurant A2 yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. All was perfect??
