I had a beautiful room ("Beck") in a beautiful old building with period features and bags of charm. My bed was very comfortable. My shower room was immaculate, with an easily operated shower & nice fluffy towels. I had lots of hot drink options. Two really comfortable chairs, plus a desk for my diary catch-up (always a bonus) No breakfast, but I did have dinner downstairs... great menu, quality local produce, impeccable service, one of the best dinners I've had in recent years. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Absolutely nothing to dislike!

room was well appointed and clean having to go across the street for breakfast (although it was lovely). would have been noisy if pub hadn’t closed at 9.00pm
