?? I would like to file a complaint regarding an issue with my recent hotel reservation made through Booking.com. I made this reservation for my guest, and I am the one who paid for both the room and the deposit. However, because the hotel had my guest’s email address, they sent all room details, reservation information, and payment-related information directly to the guest instead of me. This situation is not acceptable for the following reasons: 1. I am the host and the person who made and paid for the reservation, but all reservation details were registered under the guest’s name. 2. I do not wish the guest to know the room price or payment details, yet all this information was shared with them. 3. The hotel is also planning to refund the deposit to the guest, even though I personally paid the deposit. This is a clear mistake in handling the reservation and payment information. All reservation details, payments, and deposit refunds should be communicated with and returned to the person who made the booking and paid, not the guest. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and advise on how it can be corrected, including ensuring that the deposit is refunded to me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
