ME & MY ORGANISATION REGULARLY USE VOCCO HOTEL FOR OUR & OUR GUEST STAYS I LIKE THE HOTEL SO FOR A WEEKEND RECREATION & BREAK BOOKED A 1 NIGHT STAY WITH A PLAN TO EXTEND FOR 2 NIGHTS . BUT DID NOT DUE TO REASONS MENTIONED BELOW I AM A IHG MEMBER & ON BOOKING.COM HAD BOOKED VOCCO UNDER AED 200 VOUCHER TO BE USED FOR FOOD & DRINKS & ALSO EARLY CHECK IN & LATE CHECK OUT . AT THE CHECK IN TIME THIS ASPECT WAS NOT WELL EXPLAINED ON HOW I CAN USE THE AED 200 FOOD & BEVERAGE VOUCHER ( I ASKED AGAIN AT THE RECEPTION & WAS TOLD I CAN USE IT IN ANY OF THE PROPERTY OUTLET ) . EVENING I VISITED THE CLUB BUT WAS TOLD I CANT USE IT THERE FOR MY FOOD OR BEVERAGE . LATER MORNING AT 7:30AM I ASKED FOR LATE CHECK OUT , THE OPERATOR TOLD ME HE CANT COMMENT ON IT NOW BUT CALL LATER . LATER AT 10:45 AM I ASKED FOR LATE CHECK OUT I WAS TOLD BY OPERATOR MANAGEMENT TOLD NO LATE CHECK OUT ( MAX I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR 1 HOUR MORE BUT OPERATOR DID NOT WANT TO ASK ME HOW LONG ) SO I CHECKED OUT & DID NOT EXTEND MY STAY . WHILE BOOKING ON BOOKING.COM IT WAS UNDER THIS CLAUSE ON BOOKING.COM THAT I BOOKED OR ELSE WOULD NOT HAVE PAID ADDITIONAL & BOOKED WITHOUT BREAKFAST AND UNDER NORMAL CLAUSE WHICH WAS CHEAPER. OTHERWISE I LIKE VOCCO HOTEL BUT THIS STAY I DID NOT & WAS PUT OFF .

Breakfast was amazing We experienced a very long wait at reception and were incorrectly informed that we had not booked two rooms. The overall organization appeared poor from the moment we arrived. Even after we had already paid for both our room and our friends' room in full, our friends were later asked to pay again, which caused unnecessary confusion and inconvenience. There was a clear decline in the level of service compared to my previous visit around six years ago. At that time, the hotel was fully equipped with amenities such as toothbrushes, bathrobes, and efficient housekeeping service. Our room was not cleaned for an entire day despite requesting housekeeping several times. I also requested bathrobes and waited for hours, but they never arrived. Additionally, we requested special room setups for two different occasions: our wedding anniversary and our friends' birthday celebration. Unfortunately, the arrangements were mixed up, and the occasions were confused. To make matters worse, the children's bed was placed in our room instead of our friends' room. Overall, the stay was disappointing due to poor organization, lack of attention to guest requests, and a noticeable decline in service quality.
