NA Being and living in the UAE, the definition of quality and five-star service is exceptionally high and the hospitality sector here almost always leaves you impressed. However, if you want to completely change your perspective on what a five-star hotel in the UAE looks like, you should stay at the Marriott Marquis Dubai Creek. I travel frequently both abroad and within the UAE, and I would never recommend this place to anyone especially given their self-proclaimed five-star rating. I had multiple terrible experiences starting with waiting almost an hour just to get our luggage (had some kids medicines inside) delivered to the room. I was traveling with my 6-month-old baby who desperately needed a diaper change and due to this massive delay, my baby developed a diaper rash forcing me to go out to a pharmacy to buy nappy rash cream (stayed with him for 5 days as it was aggressive to keep him without change). Furthermore, the customer service was abysmal; you have to call multiple times for a single request and one simple service took a staggering two hours to fulfill. The room quality was also highly disappointing and clearly in need of proper and deep maintenance. To make matters worse, I received a call from their management team where they confessed they had no excuses for these incidents, yet made absolutely zero effort to resolve the situation or satisfy us as guests. At that point to avoid letting this ruin our family break, I decided to do everything myself including hauling all of our luggage down alone during departure. This hotel is far below UAE standards and I highly advise staying elsewhere.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The room service was excellent—very fast, and the food was fresh, delicious, and well presented. The highlight of my stay was the outstanding service from Sofiane. He was incredibly friendly, always smiling, professional, and made every interaction comfortable and welcoming. He truly represents excellent hospitality and made my stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the housekeeping service. I would prefer if housekeeping were handled by female staff whenever possible, as it would make me feel more comfortable. Also, the housekeeping service was slower compared to the excellent service provided by the rest of the hotel.

The property is accessible and near dcc area. The room was nice and the facilities were great, but there was a faint appliance smell when we first came in.

Lounge food can improve. No refill on fruits, nuts or sandwiches during mid day and late evening. You can find only dried fruits and candies. Staff is very courteous and service is good.

We arrived for an early check in and because the room was not ready and we had access to the executive lounge we were invited to spend lunch there.’ Unfortunately our first suite was not up to standard and after we pointed this out the duty manager (Zoki)? Simply could not do enough ☺️ ~ we were given an amazing room. The service from him and his team was exemplary ~ a real example of how to offer 5 star service. Already looking to book again! Overall, I enjoyed my stay and even extended it by an additional day, which reflects the positive experience I had at the hotel. The property is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the 24-hour lounge is a great facility. However, I was disappointed with the food options in the lounge. During breakfast, there were no Indian food choices available. Similarly, during the evening tea time (around 5:30 PM), there were no Indian snacks or refreshments offered. Considering the large number of Indian guests, it would be appreciated if the hotel could include at least one or two Indian breakfast items and a couple of Indian snacks during tea time. This small addition would significantly enhance the guest experience. During my departure, I was disappointed by the repeated calls from the hotel. While I was in the process of packing and preparing to check out, I received several calls from the hotel operator asking when I would be leaving, followed by another call on my mobile phone. Receiving multiple calls while trying to complete my departure made the experience feel rushed and stressful. Although I generally enjoyed my stay, the checkout experience was not pleasant and left me disappointed at the end of an otherwise comfortable visit.

Breakfast was excellent, but I recommend you should add more variants like for the bread section

The view, reception staff especially Jennica. Food for breakfast was ok, could be better, but the staff were great.. Spa was good, too. Its also 5 mins away from deira city centre The road to the hotel was a bit confusing (road closures)

I recently stayed at the Marriott Marquis Dubai, Jewel of the Creek with my sisters, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. Our room was very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making our stay truly enjoyable. We were especially delighted when Mr. Khalid, the very nice director upgraded us to a stunning one-bedroom apartment with an amazing view of Dubai Creek. The apartment was elegant, spacious, and offered breathtaking scenery that made our visit even more memorable. The breakfast was also very good, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from each morning. A very special thank you goes to Nancy, who was always available to assist us with anything we needed. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire team for the outstanding hospitality. We truly appreciated the exceptional service and attention to detail, and we look forward to returning again soon. Highly recommended! Nothing
