A lot of the newer outlets were not working and the bathroom fan didn’t work. Breakfast was great and staff were all very pleasant

Decent Holiday Inn Express. Located next to a mall with corporate take out and dine in. Short trip to Quantico. Easy parking.

Check in was 3 pm. We arrived at 5pm on a Friday. There were only 4 cars in the lot. A room was assigned and when we entered the room it was not prepared.... no bedding etc....We were assigned a different room. That room was only half prepared. Out travelling companions had the same problem. The rooms were not ready at 3 pm. The staff seemed unprepared and confused. The next evening I opened the door and the safety lock sprung open and locked me out of my room with all my possesions inside. My wife went to the desk to ask for help. The desk attendant was hanging out on her phone in the back room. The maintenance guy was sprawled out in a chai next to the desk and did not seem attentive when she asked for help, until the desk attendant instructed him to get a tool to slip thru the door crack to push the security tab so the door could be opened. Not a good experience all around.

We enjoyed the stay.It was close to a food shopping center right across the street. The guy at the front desk (forgot his name) he was very nice and helpful.The room was nice and I enjoyed my stay and will be back.

We reported the shower issue and was moved to another room. The bathroom in the second room also had a urine stench to it. That is why we were wondering if the mop being used is never cleaned and deodorized/sanitized. I travel a lot and stay at many various hotels. Most are renovated but this one appears to fly on the cheap. The corridor carpeting on our floor had some sort of staining and tracked down the corridor. Would I stay here again? That's a hard NO. The lady behind the front desk was not able to help or get help. But she did offer to change rooms.
