Location suited us, the views a ross the bay to Edinburgh were lovely and it was a great base for the last week of a long trip. Easy to access train to Edinburgh and nearby local services in walking distance (or short drive). Chris and Claire are great hosts and our room was lovely & well equipped. Nothing we disliked

Good location in an attractive area. Excellent for catching the Edinburgh train. Well looked after by Chris who took the time to provide useful information regarding restaurants and places to go. Would certainly like to stay again. Nothing to dislike

The peace and quiet, the location, the view, the clean and well appointed room, lovely pubs and train into Edinburgh all in easy walking distance… everything was just perfect Nothing. It was spot on.

We arrived for a two night stay, we were a bit early but this was no problem for our host Chris. He showed us to the bay room (suite) which was absolutely top notch. Chris has thought of everything to make for an enjoyable stay. There is also a lovely dining area in the room with stunning views over the bay. We opted for the breakfast hamper which was lovely and more than we needed for the two mornings. Chris also offered to take us to the venue which was most appreciated. Top marks throughout. Can't find any fault

Location was stunning, very clean room, kind and very helpful owner Chris who made us so very welcome we didn't want to leave. Fresh fluffy towels, clean crisp linin, fluffy deep pile carpet, immaculate upkeep of the property and furnishings, generous tea and coffee making facilities including nespresso machine. Hot powerful shower. It truly was a home feeling. There was nothing we didn't like. Only that we had to leave. We would love to stay there again

Everything was absolutely perfect. Beautiful room with fantastic views across Forth and Bridge. Standard of furnishings very high quality. Excellent cooked breakfast. House and room absolutely spotless. Owner, Chris, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Nothing to say.
