The staff went above and beyond to A- make sure everything was perfect for us. B- constantly engaged with us in conversation and C- the chef made food especially for us due to an allergy. The beds were super comfy

The chef, Alistair, served excellently prepared breakfast and dinner and made us feel very much at home. His advice on what to see and where to eat in East Neuk was most valuable.

It was beautiful and the room was stunning Nothing about the property as it was beautiful and just what I would have wanted, but unfortunately there were a group of men in the room next to me who were loud all night from laughing, FaceTime calling people, shouting, slamming doors from 11pm until at least 4am so I had literally no sleep. I didn’t feel comfortable to go and ask them to be quiet being a woman alone. I also must not have quite fully locked the door and one of the men walked into my room in the morning and being a woman alone, that left me feeling a little uneasy. It unfortunately ruined what should have been a lovely evening and experience as when I got there and saw the room and location I was really pleased.

The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We were disconcerted to find that an evening meal was not available at the hotel. As the hotel was not within walking distance of any other restaurant, this meant having to get back into the car and drive to find a meal.

Beautifully designed and decorated boutique hotel. Our bedroom was large with classic country house decor and furnishings. Staff very friendly and helpful.
