Some construction going on and air conditioning was too cold and difficult to set up

The hotel restaurant food was ok and service was lacking. Stayed during a World Cup game and convenience to MetLife Stadium was a challenge. Probably will stay somewhere else if we ever come back.
-
There was one bar open, we ordered a food and the food was served on the paper plates and plastic forks. I don't think the hotel with the status "wonderful" should serve the food this way. They didn't even have coffee maker !!! We were told to go to American Dream Mall to get food and coffee. Totally overpriced for what was offered !!! The shuttle to the stadium $50 per person, VIP $400. If the whole description of your hotel is a total lie you should at least provide free shuttle to the stadium. Total disappointment!!!!
-
Staying at this expensive hotel was like camping. The front desk staff did not coordinate between shifts leading to many bad surprises. They seem to open prematurely with the hope of charging World Cup fans outrageous prices while offering almost no services.
-
This place has potential but a lot of little construction going on al over. Location to stadium and the mall is great but you can’t walk there. It is a very isolated location.
-
This property is falling apart.
-
Hotel barely opened. Maybe just for the World Cup to price gauge people. So sad. No food places opened , elevators are horrible. Rooms are horrible

We arrived on june 13 with nothing available at this hotel. The website advertised a brand new clean fully functioning hotel. My husband and daughter had to get off the elevator because the door wouldn’t shut all the way therefor the elevator wouldn’t move. Total safety issue. Nothing advertised no pool was a hole in the floor the escalator didn’t move stilts holding up the sink in the bathroom in the lobby, no functioning kitchen they brought in a third party for coffee and muffins. No gym no nothing they have on their site totally false advertised. They also wanted you to pay $250.00 to park in their lot even if you were staying at the hotel because fifa was in the area even if you weren’t attending. The rooms were filled with dust from construction and lights not even working. They must have had so many people complain because they changed their site 2 days after we were there. Don’t waste your time here was an awful experience

Although the hotel looks good on the webpage, there are few things to consider. Please note that this is only my experienced. Starting with a whooping $840. Dollars for 2 nights, and trust me that the money is not the problem, if not the quality of the rooms.. Please consider the following. The lobby area looks amazing, but coming through the elevator to the 21st floor the carpet were not vacuumed… looked worst than a motel. Moving with the interior of the room,. Bathroom appearance was not cleaned properly,. very disappointing! The bathroom door didn’t close, the vent exhaust was extremely filthy, no shower soap. Shower head defected, shower faucet not closing properly. But the worst experience was to dealing with a very loud noise from the A/C unit. I’m aware that this was/is an old hotel, but not with the price… please consider your options before staying here.. On the other hand, staff were very friendly and professional. I would give this a 3 start because if it’s location and how close was to the Dream Mall, other than that. I much rather stay 20 minutes out with a better maintained facility… best to all… Innovations team, LLc

Tried to take advantage of us and overcharge for parking at $250 without disclosing that anywhere. Had to call maintenance in multiple times to get tv to work and turn off a light late at night because there was no way to turn light off. Shuttle was non existent, valet was nowhere to be found, food was pre made and bar staff were hired from the outside and had very limited drink options, everything was tapped.

The hotel is unfinished, they rushed to open for the World Cup but left it incomplete. Our room was missing both night stands, no coffee maker, no chairs to sit, only one outlet in the middle of the room which was terrible to charge both of our phones, the bathroom dispensers fell from the wall during a shower, the floor was dirty from construction, the elevator floors were broken, the restaurant had terrible boxed food, the staff tried to justify but the food was old. The hotel offered a shuttle service to MetLife, they told us the shuttle would leave by 4pm, we didn’t leave until after 4:30pm and couldn’t enjoy the pre game, the pick up was different than the drop off points but no one knew, we walked for over 2 hours and luckily found the shuttle. Terrible experience, bad construction and finishes, the staff was friendly and I feel sorry for them having to deal with all the frustration, it wasn’t just us, it was every guest we spoke. DONOT give them your money, there are so many other options around

THE HOTEL: Hallways were impassable, stacked with unopened LG TV boxes, Sleeptone comforter deliveries, overflowing laundry carts, and garbage bags. My daughter stepped over debris to reach our room (see photos). The escalator was broken. The pool was closed, reception told us they hadn't received sanitation clearance, with no projected opening date. Lobby and in-room bathrooms had no soap. Lobby bathrooms hadn't been cleaned and had toilet paper all over the floor. PARKING: Charged $250 for a match-day pass. The hotel's own website lists parking at $28/night. No disclosure, no warning. SHUTTLE: Paid $150 per person for round-trip service to MetLife Stadium. The shuttle was advertised as departing every 30 minutes. We arrived 10 min early for the 4:00 PM departure; the bus left at 4:29, arriving at the venue at 5:12pm. On return, the driver verbally told us that pickup was at "Parking Lot P" at American Dream. After 25 min of searching, I called the hotel 5 times before getting through; told it was the employee lot at MetLife, 1.6 miles from the main gate. We walked there in the dark. Arrived at 9:22 PM. No bus and no information. Other guests had been waiting since 8:45. The bus arrived at 10 PM. My husband had to flag it down while it was moving. This hotel charged luxury prices and delivered a construction site. Avoid.

Breakfast really bad coffee served in paper cup too expensive for what they offer not fresh not even appetizers at the bar everything wrapped as purchased in supermarket Room very clean Location very close to Sport Event BUT can’t walk and hotel shuttle not reliable at all and too expensive $250

Excellent service and management
-
This hotel is under full construction!!!! There are no amenities available!!! You have to combat with construction workers and trash and debris to get on an elevator, they should not be open!!! They have all kinds of banging and drilling going on at 12 am!!!!The amount of money they charge to stay here , and be subjected to this nonsense is RIDICULOUS,, they speak nothing of any of this on their website all because they want to capitalize on fifa being at met life so screw the people who get bamboozled Into coming there requested full refund and they complied

The toilet made a very loud noise when flushed and often woke my roommate. The bedding and pillows were poor quality and uncomfortable. The bathroom was outdated, and the bathtub had drainage issues. I was also disappointed with the customer service. When I approached the front desk regarding my concerns, I was told that because I booked through Expedia, the issue was Expedia's responsibility. As a paying customer staying at the hotel, I expected the staff and management to assist me rather than redirect responsibility. To be fair, the hotel stated that they accommodated me by offering a lower room rate. However, the reduced rate was never reflected in my Expedia account, so I will need to follow up with Expedia regarding that matter. Overall, the condition of the property, the room issues, and the lack of clear resolution regarding my concerns made for a disappointing experience.

Breakfast was included in the reservation, yet there was no breakfast available. The hotel is undergoing renovations, causing noise and inconvenience; the elevator took over 20 minutes, with workers constantly going up and down. It was a very bad experience—I was disappointed.
-
Exclude the fact that all amenities were closed for renovations(which we weren’t aware of until after we arrived at hotel, the entire hotel (except the room) was covered in a layer of dust. Once it’s completed it will probably be a decent hotel but until renovations are done (today is 6/6/26) I would advise against booking here.

I picked this place because there was a restaurant. The area where this hotel is doesn’t have to ma y easy to get to places to eat. Nothing I. This hotel was open, no shop, no bar, no pool, no restaurant no anything. It was like walking into a half finished building. The room was clean and well equipped but that doesn’t overcome how nothing was said that this hotel had everything closed and the whole reason I picked it was because of what was advertised on the property. I almost want to complain and get my money back.
