Lounge and bar area comfortable and bar staff friendly Some of the reception staff were not friendly. The bedrooms were exceptionally HOT. Needs air conditioning and updating. Beds uncomfortable and bathroom not very clean

Location Shabby, run down

Location, good size dining room & lounge Poorly run! Rooms were not serviced until we asked, hence we ran out of Toilet Rolls, Body Wash by shower, Milk & Brown Sugar. Towels weren't changed until we asked. Windows were filthy! Breakfast, was really bad, lacked choice. Eggs poor, tasteless sausage, hash browns crispy / overdone. Fresh fruit was Melon with odd segments of Orange. Tea & coffee wasn't brought to your table. Complained to reception regarding barking dog which had clearly been left alone in room. Maybe not fully Hotel's fault. Outside seating area on narrow balcony by bar hadn"t been cleaned with cig / butts everywhere. Stair carpet needs a clean having several stains. Corridors leading to rooms lacked ventilation

A nice bar and lounge area. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting the town and pier which had a nice coffee shop. Buffet style dinner was not for me, not a great selection on offer. Hotel was very tired looking in places, particularly in our room and bathroom area. The bedroom was very stuffy, thankfully a fan had been provided.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very good. The hotel is old, the carpets were stained, the room was dirty and had a very bad smell. The bathroom was unclean and the bed was very soft. The linen on the bed also had stains.

Room was clean Room temperature felt unhealthy 2 fans provided one of which distributed dust everywhere building was lovely in its prime but is extremely dated. Price extremely inflated due to airshow, no parking available.

The location of the hotel right on the seafront was amazing Prices for meals could be slightly better advertised

Great location, buffet breakfast plentiful and well priced, clean and good sized sea view room, comfortable bar area, very friendly staff. Hotel needs complete redecoration as looking a bit tired. Our stay was during a very hot spell but room he’d a stand alone aircon fan which helped.

The Staff were amazing so helpful and friendly The staircase carpet was disgusting there were dead flys on the window sills , the doors were all in need of repair and painting, the bathroom had cracked tiles , a chipped bath and black in the corner We were told that we would have a courtyard view it was a view to the fire exit stairs and the bit of a platform out our room was littered with cigarettes and food and old cans , someone in the room parallel to us was smoking out the window so.oir room smelt of smoke which was disgusting. Someone kept leaving a dog in the room barking. The breakfast was adequate but had no veg options for the sausages. I would never ever stay there again as long as I live
