Staff amazing, everybody very helpful and kind. The shower in my room had some issues and they immediately offered a new room. Room had everything i needed and a lovely view. Location is simply great, close to bandstand and right on the beach.

Beautiful old hotel right in the middle of town and on the water. Hotel has had a wonderful upgrade - bright crisp rooms and bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Parking was easy as well, but might be more difficult in the busy season. Being an old structure, some of the layout is odd, but our view of the ocean was perfect.

The location and the staff made this a wonderful stay. They were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. We were within walking distance of the theatres and the hotel is on the seafront. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. We would definitely stay at West Rocks again. The room was a bit dusty and a small fridge would be a nice addition. We stayed in winter and the room was nice and warm, but we imagine it could be quite hot in summer, so maybe an aircon would be nice.

The room was a good size, it had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The staff were the icing on the top. They were super friendly and very helpful. Thanks to them we had a great start.

The view from the front rooms is fantastic, the beds were comfortable and the staff were very nice. We had two rooms, one at the front and one at the side. The rooms were very hot when we arrived (it was a hot day) but the windows could have been opened in advance. The side room smelt strongly of damp and was very hot for the duration of the stay as the windows could not be opened very far. The front room got cooler due to a fresh breeze but the main window was painted shut and the others again could only be opened marginally.

The staff were very nice and they were all trying to do their best in what is a difficult time for the leisure industry. The bed was comfortable enough. Needs modernizing. The bed was nicely made and the bathroom was very clean yet the room was very dusty, particularly the bed head which can’t have been dusted for months because I wiped a lot of dust off it. Maybe the room hadn’t been used for some time.
