Very nice breakfast, most of the stuff was BIO ... but check for expiry dates :) , (also in the Self-Service fridge). Beautiful rooms, specular view of the Mountains ... spacious living rooms for all guests with books and boardgames, little corner for kids. long waiting times for dinner ... for us as family a little bit problematic with little kids, but for romantic couple who has whole evening to sit at the table no problem at all ... we didn't have any issues with owners as some of other people are saying, but truth is that you will not feel extremely welcomed.

Clean, comfy and modern. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Superb breakfast. Facilities were well-kept. Room was especially nice.

Wonderful hideaway full of so many amenities. Great game room for guests.
-
Location was very nice, although a one hour walk uphill from the parking The room number 12 in which we stayed with 3 people was very small with poor heating and a small and smelly bathroom

My 2nd stay here and it is amazing, I will be returning again. The hotel has a home feeling and is taken care of with great attitude. The rooms are amazing, a great view from the balcony too. You can use sauna in the evenings or do yoga in the morning. All food is home-made and tastes incredible. 100% recommended, great area for hiking and resting among the mountains.

The view is breathtaking and the staff is very friendly. The food is yummy, specially the pastries. Try the spring water (free and unlimited for guests). Talk to the staff for recommendations (beware, Florian is fit and underestimates the challenging hikes he recommends, but they are beautiful). Finally, use the guest card that you can get during check in to use the Kaiserlift and other attractions for free. It could be clearer in the listing how hard it is to reach the place (55 minutes uphill hike for experienced hikers, it took us 1.5 hours with backpacks).

wonderfull house, flat and area it took some time for the stuff in the morning to issue us the bill for beers we had the previous evening..on the other hand the evening staff were wonderful

It was not 30 minutes walk, it was 3.30- 4.00 hours hiking

Lovely location with stunning views! Service great. Morning yoga + nice breakfast. Could not have wished for more, except a longer stay. The kids (6, 8, 11) found the hike to the hotel a bit tough. I don’t recommend to bring children under 6. Once there the children loved it though!

Perfect location for hiking and an absolutely beautiful view over the mountains

Incredible views and location. Room was large, clean, bed was comfortable and balcony was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Food was good, though service very slow. Overall totally worth it for the experience. There was no info about where to park our car prior to hiking to the hotel, making figuring out where to start the hike to the hotel a bit stressful. Once we messaged the hotel they told us the car park address. I think the address to the parking lot needs to be included with all reservations, as I assume all guests have the same issue and frustration as us. Also, the stated “30 min hike” to the hotel is rather tough, gaining 1000ft of elevation in less than a mile. Anyone who is not fit would have a very hard time with this. Although not an issue for us, I think this should be mentioned in the hotel description to avoid unforeseen trouble for elder or less fit people.

The location was amazing! Unexpectedly amazing and beautiful! It is ~2.5km hike to the mountain, but it is totally worth it. The view is amazing! Everything was perfect!

The place was amazing, especially the nature and also the building. Personal was very kind. Too much low ceiling above the bed. The window was a little bit out of order.

View and food

The location and views were wonderful. The food was excellent and the waitress/server was very nice. The room was comfortable, quiet and included a nice balcony. There is also a sauna onsite. The walk up to the Berg 'k' hof was 45 minutes, not 30 as mentioned. It is entirely uphill. We are hikers and are fairly fit for our age. The check-in process was tedious and took me about 20 minutes. It was on a small tablet and without my reading glasses it took me more time than I would have liked after a long day hiking. Perhaps a paper version could be used? We were also charged 18 euros to bring our one bag to the hotel and back. The staff was also very vague and seemingly not very understanding with regard to what time our bag would be brought to our room, at first saying it would be between 10-11 that evening. Ultimately it was brought in a timely manner. We feel this service should be complimentary. The coffee machine at breakfast was either not functioning properly or just slow. There was a line of people at breakfast waiting about 5 min to get their coffee. This was annoying.
