Hôtel le Postillon is a small family hotel located 1 minute from the center of Echternach, in the Mullerthal region and close to the German border. We welcome you since June 2023 in a completely renovated setting. It offers soundproofed, simply furnished rooms. All rooms feature cable TV, table and chairs, armchairs and private bathrooms. WIFI connection available throughout the building. The hotel offers a continental breakfast buffet served daily from 07:30 to 10:00. Beautiful walks along the river just 5 minutes walk. Beautiful walks along the safe are available to you 5 minutes walk. The basilica and its abbey are a 2-minute walk away. Lake Echternach, which has opened a swimming area, is a 15-minute walk away. Various forest walks in the Mullerthal are accessible by car or on foot. The main train station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Several supermarkets or shopping center are nearby. Luxembourg City, with its Noter-Dame Cathedral and National Museum of Art and History, is a 30-minute drive away. Vianden Castle is a 35-minute drive away. Paid parking spaces, 50cts per hour from Monday to Saturday, are on the street. The hotel does not offer a parking space. The rooms are spread over 3 floors.

Very warm welcome and friendly staff. The hotel is super clean and luxurious. Our spacious room was in the attic which was a very nice place under the wooden bins. Breakfast was excellent.

A very large room. No A/c and no fan!! Not even a mobile small one. Television is tiny and far away in the large room- better have binoculars. Breakfast was standard. Staff was a bit frigid. Not worth the very expensive price.

All good as long as you’re OK with street parking Receptionist is a stick in the mud, will refuse to speak English even as you know she is fluent.

The staff working were incredibly accommodating for my family. The room was very clean and hotel was close to everything.

Recently renovated. Very nice and large room for 3 people (#14), quite even on the street side. Small room with sink, fridge and kettle. Space for 3 pieces of luggage. Lots of plugs for electronics. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast with a variety of food. Friendly and helpful owner. Many restaurants nearby.

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were large, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was superb I wish the rooms had an electric kettle and some herbal teas.

The room was EXCEPTIONALLY clean, new, spacious and overall: AMAZING. The host was kind, the breakfast was good and the location is nice if you want to go hiking. The room has no air conditioning and the room was quite hot (we were there in June, it was 25-30 degrees C). Usually it won't get too hot in Luxembourg, but if you plan to stay here during a hot summer, we would recommend a room with air conditioning. You are also close to the border in Germany, so at some times it might be hard to get a good internet connection, although this has nothing to do with the property itself.

Charming hotel, good breakfast, great location in city center, and close access to the Mullerthal Trail for our hike. No A/C (not unusual for the area though).

This was easily the largest room we had on our 3 week trip to Benelux. Large modern bathroom. Comfortable bed. Private balcony. Breakfast was included in our rate, and was very good. Lovely location in the heart of the city, near town square. Easy drive to hiking, Trier, Luxembourg City. Parking was a little awkward but we figured out when we could park on the street and where the free lot was.

Spacious studio. New dishes. Very kind hostess. Central location. Great skylights in the studio unit that open to provide ventilation. We spent three nights and enjoyed enchanting walks in the area. No AC, but the skylight ventilation mitigated that in late June. Tight stairway to get large or heavy bags up into the loft, but they can be left on the main floor.

Love the location right on the main square. Minimal parking options in front. The breakfast was delicious and everything was very clean! Staff was also very kind. We would definitely recommend!

Hotel Le Postillon is a great hotel in the middle of Echternach, Luxembourg. The hotel is clean with modern accommodations and a great breakfast. The room was adequate and comfortable. We definitely would stay there again the next time we travel through the area. Nothing particular comes to mind.

The location of the hotel was great, very close to the main square and pedestrian street, lots of restaurants nearby. The host was attentive, I really appreciated that they contacted me regarding a little purse I had forgotten in the room after check-out, I was able to get it back later. The room for 4 persons was quite small, but it was advertised as a double room with extra capacity - the kids could sleep in the sofa bed, which was ok for them. We did not take breakfast, it was 15€ per person, also for the kids, 60€ in total seemed too much.
