It was the perfect location for my trip The room smelled like urine and smoke, maybe cat pee.

Clean basic motel. Parking is spacious. Bring your own shampoo and napkins.

If you need a room to sleep and rest only, this is a good option. The price is fair vs others hotels and motels in the area. This location is around 6 miles away from Berkeley, which is convenient. However, don't expect a nice room, building and amenities, because what you pay is to sleep and rest in a clean room, which is what matters the most 😀. If you want a room to show off in a social media, or expect to see everything new, then this is not for you! Overall, I came with my only purpose of see and hang out with my son, who is a freshman at the university. With that said, I am satisfied with what I got.

Arrived after 11 PM, couldn't get a downstairs room. Front desk was friendly though, advising us to store valuables inside the room (car break-ins mentioned). Room felt crowded. Beds were comfortable but full-size, not queens as listed. AC worked great. Mini-fridge and microwave functioned okay, but no proper cups for hot water—they only gave paper cups to microwave (not ideal). Wi‑Fi was spotty: connected sometimes, failed entirely other times. Not reliable for work. Overall: extremely basic motel at a reasonable price in a busy location. Beds comfy, AC good, staff nice. But if you value reliability and comfort, look elsewhere. Works for short budget stays near UCB, but I'd upgrade for longer visits.

I got a nonsmoking room but it smelled. It was a clean room. Carpet looked old and green. For the price, couldn’t complain.

I enjoyed that the motel was near public transportation. For a person who needs assistance I was grateful .

i would not recommend this place to anyone., it was mis-represented in the ad and not worth half the $89 which we paid. The sink bowl finish was worn down to expose the fiberglass, the bathroom door was swelling, and the oversized furnature cramped the room. Overall this old, run down place gets no more than one star from me…

I didn’t like anything about the property at night time they put a sign up to where if your card gets deactivated you’re not able to access the office to get a new card. There’s an Indian guy. He’s very rude. Customer service horrible he doesn’t know how to talk to people he smells like weed he’s always smells like cigarettes. He always has an attitude when somebody comes to the window sometime he doesn’t even come to the window. Oh, they also have their family there than there so majority of the rooms are always occupied. Horrible customer service half of the employees do not speak English

The staff was not helpful about no WiFi in my room.

No internet working. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful. Could not provide another room. Housekeeping was done partially with no change in bed covers. Avoid this hotel….

Staff was helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting. I only wish there was an iron and ironing board available. I definitely love that there is an on-site laundry room. I am so happy I found this inn being that it was close to work, very, very convenient. Tons of food places nearby. I will be staying again in the future. Only if there is vacancies. They seem to fill pretty fast!!
