Water is really very bad smells, internet was not working

Great for the value Not so clean

The location is not easily accessible and it’s tricky to find the correct address. You also need to ride a tuktuk to go elsewhere. The water has a bad smell and seems like it comes from a deep well, which is not really suitable for bathing. There is no internet connection—the receptionist said it has been down for a week. The place also has a weak network signal, so you need to go outside the room to get a better connection. During my 3-day stay, I wasn’t happy with the experience. Sorry, not sorry!

The bathroom! The shower and toilet is in one stall. If you take a shower the bathroom floor and the toilet seat will be wet. The shower and hot water tap didn't seem to work. Maybe that's why there's a pail and dipper. The location is not in the town proper. We needed to take a tricycle going to the town. It's P100 each way for 2 people, they will not take more than 2.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

The surrounding has bad smell,. 1st night was horrible coz the air-conditioned is not getting cooler and has a lot of mosquito inside the room.. and the electricity is off and on.. and wifi is no good.. and last day we didn't get to shower coz of no electricity and no water..

Cheap Location and comfortability - it’s flooding

The shower is too low you’ll take 30 mins to finish showering instead of 5 mins! The staff is not responding right away when we need something for the room! The day we arrived i called like more than 10x before they pick up!

- Next to the beach with a good variety of restaurants - Tour booking and bike booking available at the accommodation. Makes it easy. Can also book taxi to the airport. - Toilet is not great. Shower has very very feeble water pressure and it was El Nido characteristic water..green lol. No separate shower area, shower between Toilet and sink. - Wifi was very very poor. Common theme in El Nido however. - Room had no windows and was a bit congested. To note, not all rooms are like this - We stayed at the Budget Double room.

The water smells strange.

- The rooms were nice and staff was friendly. - There’s a kettle, cups and coffee sachets. - There was free drinking water to use. Cons: - Stayed because reviews said good WiFi, unfortunately power went out very frequently and WiFi didn’t always work. Sometimes the WiFi would go down even when there was power. The neighboring buildings would have power so I’m not sure if it was unique to this building. There is no cell service for Globe data plan (most common one) so I had to buy a new eSIM to get service there (Smart eSIM) but there was one day that plan didn’t have service do to construction. If you go to the beach there is signal but not in the location of the rooms. We ended up moving to a new hotel half the price that had more reliable service and WiFi. - Cold showers

Didn’t have hot water, and I didn’t know when I reserve. I put some clothes to wash in the laundry of the hotel and unfortunately came with stain that didnt have before

Love our stay, the location although room isn’t bright enough at night.

They are very accommodating. The location is accessible to any mode of transportation.

Pretty decent for its price. A little confusing if you use google maps in locating the area so use the owners instructions instead. It has spacious lobby/balcony area to dry wet clothes too. Our room has no window except for the comfort room. No chairs inside the room as well since the space is enough for the beds and small luggages.

The staff at Vali-Joe were always friendly, fun, accommodating and helpful.
