The AC and location!

It is a budget hostel so nothing is perfect…that being said the staff are very honest and friendly . The local guys at hostel were also great and easy to talk and have beer with. The beds are clean and the breakfast is also good . I stayed five nights in private room and i do not at all agree with some of the nasty reviews ive read. In el nido it is a great value for the money ?

Staff was nice. Cheap. Lots of mosquitoes, room was not fully enclosed so they could get in. Location was far from El nido for walking. We paid an extra 300 for a room with AC and the AC didn’t work so got a knock at 11:00pm saying we could use a different room.

I haven't been there before but it seems like the place has improved. Dormitory is clean, u get towel, there is a simple bathroom with shower. yes the water is cold but who cares its 30 degrees. Also there are some power losses but I saw a generator. we didnt have electricity in the morning but shower was still working. Owner super friendly, I met his friends we had fun! Also u CANT FORGET its very affordable place. its not 5 star hotel but its one of the cheapest places in area. There is no wifi in the dormitory, they should just buy a signal repeater.

Simple place and okey for what you paid…I meet good people and the staff was try to be nice and helpful… also they have sort of free transfer to down town if you book the tours or check out which was very nice. There were no water and they blame the public system but was not working on the hostel.. seems that instead of solving a problem they just deal with by sticking a sign saying there is shortage of water. But it can be fix by installing some thanks like the rest of the other places in town.

The hostel was great, staff were nice and friendly. It’s near the beach and the downtown area too. I booked an island hopping tour with them it was really fun

wifi and convenient location AC is not that cold but manageable

This is by far the best hostel we have stayed at in our 6 months of travelling. Merzah the owner and her staff are some of the kindest people we have ever met, and they honestly took us in like family. My girlfriend and I originally booked for 6 nights, but we ended up staying for 17 - That’s how much we loved our time there! We’ve met some incredible people in our months travelling, but this was the hardest goodbye by a mile! Amazing people and amazing hostel. We will be back! Nothing not to like, we loved our time here

Staff were nice,friendly. The place was dirty,ants and mosquitos were everywhere. Toilet bowl was filthy,toilet seat was broken.Bathroom was dirty.Lavatory sink was filthy.A lizard was in one of the rooms nearby and was making noises a few times during the night.Worst of all there was no water and electricity.Only stayed one night.Had to find another place to stay the following day which was 100% better. The place was not even the same as what they had described and the pictures shown on their website.

The pick-up from the bus station was such a nice touch. The area is outside town which for some might be a con but I loved exploring another part of El Nido more surrounded by nature and locals and still within walking distance from town (around 15 min of a very pleasant walk by the water and cliffs, plus a great sunset view). The facilities are simple and straightforward, nothing too fancy but it's not like I needed or expected it. I only stayed here one night but for the price I would definitely repeat. The walls are significantly thin and you can hear the entire family who runs the place throughout the day and night, just chatting outside or even the song for the baby, which was a bit uncomfortable. If a pick up is provided a drop-off would have been appreciated also, which it is, but for a cost. They did bring me somewhat closer to town but still, the walk to the ferry terminal was kind of brutal in the humidity and the heat. I had butt sweat stains from it hahahha.
