The staff made the whole experience, everyone remembering us by name was so nice. And the little welcome treats were so nice to see. Thankfully a crib was provided so that was nice to have. A sterilizer was advertised but wasn’t able to get one as they were out or unavailable.

The staff is excellent - they're all always here to help and always smiling, it's great! Thank YOU all! The hotel is well located - about a 2 mn walk to get to the main street. There are lots of tuktuks right in front of the hotel, lots of restaurants, a nice bakery... The "standard room" is of decent size. There's a balcony, which was really convenient. The pool area is great. Breakfast is nice - sweet & salty options, an egg station, coffee, tea, etc. Papaya Beach is GREAT, the hotel takes you there at 9am or 11am and you can come back at 2pm or 4pm. It's one of the prettiest beach in El Nido. They give you beach towels if needed. We asked for a quiet room - which they gave us. Our room didn't face the very busy street but was still really noisy (there were dogs barking, people screaming, roosters crowing at all hours, loud music at 6am...) We didn't have ONE single night of good quiet sleep. The hotel gives your earplugs but it's not enough. On top of that, the hotel has very old AC units - We've NEVER had an AC as loud as this one. It is so bad, why not change them? Even on "sleep" or "energy saver" mode, it still is noisy. We turned it off for one night as the noise was really annoying and the room smelled really bad when we woke up (a strong humidity smell) so we never turned it off after that. The windows have blackout curtains but it's absolutely useless as they are so many lights in the room... You can see everything even when all the lights are off. Wifi is not really good.

The staff was awesome, the breakfast was great and the rooms were very well laid out and had a balcony. The pool area was very relaxing and it had a great restaurant bar right beside the pool. It was a perfect location, close to town but not in the middle of all the noise. It was all great.

Room was nicely designed, efficient and spacious. Pillows and bedding were very comfortable. Hotel facilities such as the gym and pool were nice. While we didn’t get a chance to visit their private beach, we heard great things about it. Breakfast spread was awesome - slightly different every morning. The staff was absolutely amazing and made our experience in El Nido so much better, especially since it rained a lot during our stay. There were little nice touches such as offering cookies, popcorn, banana bread, etc. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner was the same, not separate bottles.

The food and drinks were good. The pool was nice. The room was comfortable. The picture of hotel in their ad makes it look like there are ocean view rooms. Apparently there are not. There are no elevators and I was on the 3rd floor. When I walked out of my room, the view was of an ugly scene of burning trash, roosters crowing, dogs barking and general filth and trash. It was depressing and was a terrible way to start and end day. When I went to check out, I wanted to pay my food bill in cash but they didn’t have the change to do, so they had to run across the street to break my 1,000 peso note. This made me late to an excursion.

The customer service of the staff was excellent. The little extra touches were appreciated. The pool was excellent. The furnishings were good quality. The hotel was located within 100 metres of the new Town Square development, which has some nice bars, restaurants, gelato shop, etc. The included breakfast was average. Housekeeping had to be reminded each day to clean our room. The room was quite noisy, especially in the mornings. The bar closed earlier than promised. The bed was a little bit hard.

Maybe the times for preparing food and cocktails at the bar are too long

I loved the funny lion at El Nido—it really added some charm and character to the place! The staff were incredibly personable and kind—special thanks to Val, Cjay, Vince, and the entire kitchen and bar team for being so supportive and attentive. The service and food were truly Michelin-quality, and the location was absolutely stunning. I also really appreciated the included buffet breakfast—it was the perfect way to start each day. Honestly, just nitpicking here—but the price is on the higher side. It’s one of those “you get what you pay for” situations. Could a similar experience be found at a lower price point? Maybe—but this property’s breathtaking location, outstanding staff, and top-tier service more than justify the cost.

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were offered a refreshing welcome drink while completing the check-in process, which was a nice touch. The hotel’s location is excellent and very close to the city center, making it convenient for exploring the area. The room was quite small and not ideal for two people. The beds were not very comfortable, and the soundproofing was poor, we could hear a lot of noise from the street outside especially since our room was located on a busy road. Our room was on the fourth floor, and unfortunately, there was no elevator, which could be difficult for guests with mobility issues. Breakfast lacked variety and was almost the same every day.
